The leaves and shrubs are very consistent, I think the car in the background is actually two cars

There’s a lot of stuff going on in the layout of this area that doesn’t make sense. What exactly is the relationship between the sidewalk, driveway, and roads?

Too consistent imo. You’d expect a giant inflatable cat collapsing or being inflated to displace a few leaves. Both pictures also have exactly the same angle so for that to make sense someone would have had to set up a tripod to shoot a Halloween decoration, that feels odd. The real cat in the first picture looks like they’re sunk too far into the ground too, could just be softer than it looks though.

To me it seems like the same base image with edits superimposed on top.

Honestly I thought you were being a little harsh, but something I noticed is there’s no cord for the fan that should be keeping that thing inflated. Every lawn decoration like that I’ve seen had a bounce house-style blower.

I hate that this is the world we live in now, where I can’t take anything at face value.

Yeah but the power cable going to the air pump is completely missing. These kind of inflatables don’t hold air well, so they need a pump to be constantly running or they deflate immediately. Which also means that a cat isn’t going to easily defeat it with their claws unless they make a big enough hole. But if such a hole existed, you would likely see it in the second pic because all the air would be escaping out through it.

Given that and the other evidence provided in these comments, I’m about 85% certain this is AI.
