Don’t you worry, they just need 2 more nights of fox news in their veins and they’ll be right back.
Still is. I fucking love that this cat is guaranteed a better legacy than I.
They say you die twice, once when your body stops functioning, and once when the last person thinks about you.
Today is not that day for Dewey.
If God was real a comically large anvil would have just blessed this fuckers head.
Nice try, bedbug.
Lol for his bravery. That’s not what that word means.
Also, looks like we’re going to need a new medal if we ever stop this regime
To be frank, I haven’t used paru. I’m relatively new to arch but I’ve had nothing but good experiences with yay
I used bazzite and I ran into the exact issues you described above. It worked, and it worked well, but anything extra that I wanted to do required jumping through a shit load of hoops and bouncing around between bazzite forums, fedora forums, and universal blue forums to maybe not even arrive at a reliable work around.
It was extremely valuable because I had to learn a lot, but it just wasn’t nearly as seamless as cachy.
Bazzite will play steam games right off the rip and it will do it well, and is an easy install. Beyond that it can get harry if you’re not just using flatpacks.
A lot of people will say “just use distrobox” if your solution to make something work in this OS is to download and use another OS, why wouldn’t I just start there with the other OS?
Agreed.
CachyOS has all of the gaming stuff (can be just point and click with their welcome popup/installer), is arch based so there’s a ton of well made documentation.
Download yay and off to the races
You don’t get many opportunities in life to see perfection, this is one of them.
I play helldiver’s just fine. Unless they’ve changed something in the last few months
Thanks friend
I had a rough time finding out whether or not regular docker containers are compatible with podman.
Do you have any good resources you could link regarding that and podman use?
Idk that installing a different OS to install software is better than installing another os to install software. I feel like that would just be keeping up with updates on two or more separate OSs, but with that said, I’ve never used it aside from just goofing around a little trying to get some theming stuff to work, which did not.
To each their own though, would be a great solution for someone that doesn’t want to uninstall their current system because they’ve sunk time into it or other reasons.
They both worked fine for me, but installing almost everything through yay on CachyOS instead of having to deal these on bazzite (link below) was a huge QoL change for me. That and the sheer amount of documentation for arch is just awesome.

To me, this was a mess and was convoluted. It helped me learn a ton, but if you want simple and need more than just gaming on steam, it’s not worth it imo.
That was my first thought. Why the fuck do ceos get a pass for making their mental shit everyone else’s problem? When I do that, I get an expensive trip to the psych ward.
Ah that was the disconnect, I’m a little tiny poe2 gal. Very smol
I hated the 5 flask system, and I cannot go back after the wasd movement.
That said, you still did connect the dots on the popsicle stick, I had no idea, but with at least 10-20 hours on poe1 I get it now.
Ggg has made some absolutely crazy calls over the year, but from what I can tell in the last few press releases of their game, they have gone from only seeing their vision to managing their expectations, understanding that the game cannot not be broken, and they’re rolling with it optimistically.
Are you into poe2 at all or are you one of the sticklers?
