We sure do NOT have universally mandatory civics, not anymore. I graduated in 09 and my school district didn’t teach anyone anything beyond the basics of the voting system.
Not really laws, at least in the US. So long as they don’t claim it’s made of things it isn’t, they can say “well the packaging clearly states it’s not real, actual leather”.
There really aren’t any. No candidate has withdrawn or died before the election, and nobody ever really considered the possibility even as candidate ages grow older and older.
His manifesto is full of a bunch of problematic racial overtones as well.
Alternately, they can hold elections and still make them corrupt by holding them at the most inconvenient times for everyone except the people they want. “Our election is a voice vote, the week before Thanksgiving, at 2PM in a conference room in town 50 miles away” sorta stuff.
His lawyers have run out pretty much every option to delay trials, although several judges have seemed pretty damn complicit as well. I get wanting to make sure the case is as airtight as possible, but…the people they’re worried about pissing off with a case that isn’t entirely formed, were just going to be pissed off anyway.
Room and board can be as much as another 20% depending on where you go.
My dad actually got involved in something like this. He got rejected from a job after a background check company confused HIM (a 59-year-old white guy) with another guy (a black 32-year-old man) who happened to share the same name, in the same city, and provided the contracting company with information that stated my father was wanted for felony larceny. I think we wound up getting something like $700 from a small class-action against the background check provider, and it got settled out of court because someone blew it up with the local news.
I had my manager try to call me in while I was on the other side of the country. He tried to tell me I hadn’t informed him of my vacation, so I sent him the picture and emails where I had listed my vacation in the scheduler. Then he told me I was lying, so I sent him a selfie of me in front of Fort Yellowstone.
“Time for It To Come Home for Christmas” sounds vaguely ominous.
Or you have a golden parachute clause so you leave with $3.6mil as everything burns around you.
Don’t forget the part where he had to watch most of his friends die in an alternate timeline because he accidentally touched a thing.
Unarmored, unarmed except for what you can reasonably hide. You all bought at least 1 dagger over the course of your campaign, right?
Generally speaking, plane crashes are like train crashes. Either most everyone survives, or most everyone dies pretty quickly, with very little in between.
That’s simply poor route planning, which could be solved by better bus funding, leading to more buses with more stops and more frequent trips.
Basically this. If they had slowed down releases, even added new songs as updates or micro DLC packs in between, I think they’d have had something that would’ve worked for years. It was incredibly popular because the variety of play was big and the controls for each position were pretty basic enough to the point that anyone could pick up any position and play.
However, everyone had to have their own version inside of a year. DJ hero, American Idol games, every major band of the last 50 years got their own branded version of Rock Band, etc. It burnt the market out like the Great Awakening.

Are you a crow?
I think my school taught about Custer and that was about the extent of “oh by the way we did horrible things to the native population”.
There’s a good reason nobody’s domesticated them.
