I think it fits especially with Stallman. The neck beard ideal seems to be one of supposed supremacy over others of “lesser” intelligence, right? Stallman is like part unicorn to them. I will tell you now we captured everything SIP related when I worked in that field. RTP and RTCP. We could reconstruct the VoIP packets and play back your calls whenever we liked with minimal auditing required. Every call is timestamped and logged against telecom switch port. Even Stallman would have been subject to that. He wasn’t special, because no one was special.
