    My goto is KeePass. Does everything I need. I like the use of hotkeys and the ability to have complete control over how the autotype works. Plus if you have a fingerprint scanner (phone or laptop or something) you can use autotype with that too. And the program is completely free.

      KeePass can only save passwords to a local file. No password syncing across desktop and mobile. This makes it unusable for me.

      I use keepass at work for system administration - where I don’t care about syncing my password to my phone. But other people reading this should be aware that keepass is very different (very useless) for the average person.

        It depends on what you use it for yes, but I’ve been able to sync it between devices using onedrive or google drive. You could also set a local FTP or SSH where you keep the master file then connect each device to it. I understand your point that you may want an app that just does that for you, all I’m saying is this is an option that I like using.
