I think it’s a bit too early to monetize, but I haven’t used it yet.
Trying to help in growing Lemmy because I’m not into self abuse.
I am still active and check my account periodically.

I’ve been using Samsung for so long that I didn’t realize the rest of the ecosystem doesn’t have this.
Its so frustrating, because I end up backing up to both systems because each offer something different.
They’re the best Android phone, but not the best experience.
When it works, it works really well. I’ve had many of their Galaxy line up. I’ve even switched briefly to iPhone and came back to a Galaxy S23 Ultra, and it’s so so good.
On the other hand, their budget phones aren’t bad. I use one of their really old A lineup phones as a digital dash of OBD2 data for my car. That battery is just amazing, it stays charged for days, takes in the heat, and still operates no problem.
The only issue I have is support. They want to demand similar pricing to Apple, but if something break it’s pretty much go fuck yourself attitude.
It would make sense that they’d say this. iOS blocked Meta from being able to advertise, and there is a lot more customization on Android.
His opinion is clearly biased in this matter.
I fucking loved Windows Mobile OS. I want my tiles back.
Oh I remember that with Nokias. It’s like shock absorbing for cars lol.
iOS is not private, it’s secure.
Private: Only you can see it, the servicing company does not. In the case, Apple not only sees your data but sells it too.
Secure: The data is protected from unwanted access by 3rd party vendors.
These are rough definitions though.
Not sure if this makes it “private” but here is what I use:
Certified dad right here.
Command and conquer series. They’re the best RTS games honestly.
Will be nice to go there and not see their office anymore.
That’s not entirely true. The APU is more efficient, and is on a newer node.
It may not be as efficient, but it’s definitely not the same power usage.
Well, some will want to dock it as well and use it as a computer with a keyboard and mouse. I think that’s a major use.
Hey! Glad to see cross posting working! :)
Agreed, and the competition from steam forced them to release a firmware update to be more efficient.
Define “beat”
Performance numbers alone, yes. It’s a newer CPU on a newer node. Absolutely. The screen is also 120hz, and 1080p.
User experience wise, I don’t think so. Windows 11 is barely functioning for me on a desktop, how is it going to handle on a console device? Rog software has been pretty crappy on desktop too, it’s similar here. The videos I’ve seen show a wonky experience.
Its not all bad, but it isn’t a direct competition. I think the Steam Deck delivers a tailored experience, while this delivers a laptop in a small package.
The Rog software alone. 😂
Gmail, personally. Can’t beat it.
Otherwise, I’d like to switch to Proto for the security.
