People are so normalized to ads. I have many, many friends who either use YT free and wait patiently for 2 x 1 minute apps before every video AND ad breaks. I tell them about adblockers and they laugh and say “they dont mind”. Or they play for YT premium and I tell them that adblockers exist and they say “i dont mind paying”. Genuinely blows my mind

There have been talks in Europe about how we are dependent on American tech for our digital infrastructure. Some politicians even pushing for an alternative to Apple and Google. I hope everyone else wakes up before it’s too late.
