5-6 weeks? If you add what I take off I’m well over that. I’m around 20 holidays. 4 quarter days. Birthday. 3 weeks mandatory. I’m minimum 12 weeks a year.

Have no interest in hiring you. You don’t have the skills or work ethic to work where I work. Look how you’re arguing about something you have no knowledge about. That isn’t the type of person we’d hire.

Oh please, then you could just “decide” to take every other month off and nobody would care, you would get paid the same,etc , you can’t tell me that’s the case…

Maybe someone like you would do that but I enjoy working. If I don’t have my deliverables in then I would get terminated for performance. I take plenty of time off.

Right, so 3 weeks vacation and you can’t even decide when to take them. Sounds like a pretty shitty deal to me… No. those are in addition to as much vacation as you want.

It allows me to take off as much as I want. With three weeks mandatory and twenty days for holidays, I take another 4 weeks off. How much more time does someone need?

What’s next, are you going to tell me that your company is like “a family”? No, it’s a job. We also have 9 months of paternity leave as well. My coworker was out most of the year spending time with his newborn.

If you had read my comment, you’d see we are forced to take a eeek in July, two weeks for the end of the year and 20 holidays.

I take very little time off. I feel like I’m already off most the time.

Pretty standard now days. The only limit is I have to get my work done and it can’t be more than 4 weeks at a time. Oddly it can’t be used if you’re sick. You have to use sick time for being sick. That’s only 12 weeks but that’s when disability would kick in.

I have unlimited plus my birthday off, once a quarter we all take off, a week for 4th of July, two weeks for Christmas and new years plus twenty holidays.

This is pretty standard for any job I’ve had.

One article I read said he likes to fire whole teams and then see which people are asked about. Those are the ones he rehires. If nobody misses you then you were doing a job of value.

From a human level, this is just shitty. It isn’t the way to treat people.

I won’t buy from scalpers. No way. They add zero value and are like parasites. Microsoft and Sony should have taken a firm stance against them.

Course I pay double ? Sure at the time I had the money but I won’t do it because of the ethics.

I was going to buy one when they came out but they were hard to get. I never got one and don’t see the need to buy one now.

I will not pay over list for a game console. That is just bad money skills.

Twisted metal was great. Never really played the game but the tv show was fun

One gripe I have is the power armor is weak

Boot to command line. You have to install the nvidia drivers. Don’t turn on the gui until you get it working. Crazy I had the same issue several years ago

I’m a conservative and read a wonderful article on why conservatives should be leading the charge to a social democracy like Sweden. It really changed my views on why we should be skippering certain endeavors. Just neither party here has really embraced the basic concept.

An example was national health care allowed people to be more entrepreneurial since that is a large risk to not have insurance here.

Europe uses the word socialism differently. It’s a difference in how the words are used and the time they are used. If we consider socialism shared responsibility, we have it America in many ways but we are hesitant to expand it. That’s because of our fear of large government power.

If we me socialism as the workers owning the means of production. Well no country does that. Normally it’s the government owning everything and the workers being abused such as the Soviet Union or Cuba. That’s the large governments Americans dislike.

Adopt when you are ready. You can’t replace what you had but you can provide a home to another animal that needs one. It won’t be the same but different in a good way. I had friends who said it’s just a cat when mine passed but they don’t get, they’re more than just cats.

Man I’m sorry to hear that. I’ve been through it several times and it doesn’t get any easier.

I’m not an overly emotional person but the poem the rainbow bridge made me cry and feel better. I’m not religious. I’ve never had faith but I’d like to think if there is a “heaven” they’ll be there with me.
