5Ah is standard for a phone of that size, but GSMArena’s tests show it underperforms given the capacity. Hopefully Motorola can improve it with updates? And I’m not sure how good custom ROM support is on their phones, it’s definitely an option as you say but all phones should have at least 5 years of security patches imo.

Seems like a solid phone for the price, shame about the battery life and only 3 years of security updates

I’m not sure what the used market is like in your area but I’d see if you could pick up a 6800XT, 1440p would benefit significantly from the additional RAM. Here I think you could probably negotiate to £350-£370 or so?

I’ve not had UI issues but agree on the Pop Shop. The next iteration with Cosmic looks to be significantly improved at least
PopOS has an ISO with Nvidia drivers included, no issues gaming straight away on my old 1080ti. As I’m a simpleton who just likes their system to with I’ve stuck with it even after upgrading to an AMD card

The cameras don’t work but this isn’t a deal-breaker for me, it runs smoothly and is perfect for my needs as a media consumption device (music, movies, comics) with some browsing. There were some issues I had on installation but nothing that couldn’t be resolved. Many thanks to the Linux surface team!

Finally decent software support which is nice to see. But for the price, Sony really should have updated the old, old, telephoto and also added a discrete DAC for audio. Still good battery life but not amazing like the VI
