I agree with you. Lemmy seems to have a lot of entitled people that stifle freedom. It’s pretty disappointing.
I always thought “touch grass” was a stupid saying on reddit. But on here I’ve really wanted to use it. Like …get outside and see the world is chaos and you’re not that significant or special.
I don’t understand why people assume everyone reads or watches the content.
I can see how it’s annoying… But it’s more annoying seeing people complain about it because for some reason they can’t possibly fathom that people post without reading/watching. They just seem like control freaks… It’s the internet, not a private school or courtroom under oath.
CPU cores. I think the i5 6500 was my lowest option ide get. I believe it has 6 cores?
I didn’t look into i3 at all though.
I also looked for the one with the best USB speeds.
Let me go get my axe!
Do you need to install widevine or something? Amazon prime had to download widevine digital rights thing to be able stream.
What are the main differences between fedora and Debian?
Fedora with gnome is usually my go to distro, but I have been playing around with endeavor and arch.
The AUR also suffers from abandonment and dependency issues, sometimes blocking major upgrades.
Sounds like a perfect match for me.
M powered iPads too!?
So promote peertube more?
I’m in the same boat. I installed endeavoros, then arch with archinstall.
Now I want to do it manually.
When I started with the archinstall script it kept failing… Finally I tried a new USB and it worked smoothly.
Are there specific aspects you want to learn? I’m curious about partitioning. Possibly putting my /home on a external SSD.
My nitpick with those menus is how close the pop up menu is to the top panel and right edge of screen. I’d love to see some space between there.
Well then you’d better go catch it!
I like mine. But I have to admit I’m not a frequent reader and only synced a few times.
I pirate all Foss apps. No sense in thanking people that give to the community. /S.
I haven’t fucked with my daily driver phones for like 5 years. Sometimes I’ll use apps like YouTube revanced or something for music… But honestly I can even do without that and get by with newpipe.
I wonder if they’ll go with something that beats the Asus and steam deck handhelds.
Now that I’m thinking… If they used a Linux os base that could play steam and Nintendo.
Bringing a larger age group to it…
I have a pp too, would recommend aside from the fact it constantly turns on randomly.
(This is a joke)
I appreciate you not just being an “omg you didn’t read the article!!!” poster. And giving the info the op needed.
