I resolved to stop paying full price for anything Pitchford and his touch based on a number of factors. I did buy the latest BL game when it was on a big sale and thoroughly hated the main story and various plotholes (seemingly from cuts made by the company/directors rather than the writers). I bought Tiny Tina (again, on sale for over half off) and it was a game with all kinds of bugs that just never got fixed – it’s the first game I didn’t immediately roll a new character to replay after beating it. At this point, I’m not sure I would buy anything else they put out.

I debated because I really disliked another option in there (I think it was split-screen for AI or something stupid) and it felt like it was designed to make me not rank something else I didn’t like as least desired.

Neither? I am more wary after the launch of 6 and the issues, but I also say ‘neither’ because I’m simply not in the market for a new device.

I mostly write ‘indexes’ these days when I’m not on autopilot, in part since not all of my coworkers have a high English proficiency and just following the normal +(e)s plural makes it easier. My brain really does not want me to write ‘matrixes’ however (and indeed, my dictionary in this browser is fine with ‘indexes’ but not ‘matrixes’). I also try not to be pedantic with verbs whose irregular forms have become less common than their “incorrect” (at least when I was taught) forms. “Shined” being one of these, but I am sure there are more.

I always said “in GIN icks” (gin like the alcohol) based on someone else’s pronunciation years ago. I never realized it was meant to have anything to do with “engine” as a result.

That looks really nice! I want to build a root cellar but it’s just not feasible for my climate (humid subtropical) and location (no mountains or hills on my land to go into and water table too high to dig down). I would have to do mechanical cooling and ventilation on whatever I build at which point it’s basically a walk-in cooler.

I remember seeing it when it made it to DVD at some point and not making it all the way through the movie due to not enjoying it. I never tried to rewatch it after the fact.

Two to three meals a day, almost no snacks, generally a decent amount of fiber. Mom’s basically the same and I think grandmother was. Mom has been diagnosed with various forms of IBS. Dad has Celiac’s and a DNA test I took said increased risk.
