No headphone jack is a huge letdown.

Fwiw, here’s a link to the recent issues- https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin/issues/15045
A lot are fixed for this release. I would check that list and make sure none apply to you before upgrading. Always have a backup though of course.
Way too much for me to care. I admit gnome isn’t perfect but I’ll still argue it’s far more consistent than KDE.
Yep. Ugly, disjointed in appearance, etc. I set up Debian KDE for a family member moving from windows so it fits. I was impressed that KDE came far from what it was but it very much is like a bucket of bolts to me.
Gnome in contrast is very put together. Yes, has some quirks but appearance wise is very curated IMO.

Just donated some money to them. Haven’t even tested a build yet but I’m excited based on what I’ve seen over the years.

That’s a pretty good use case.

Are people really using a single login on a shared computer? Why?
I did this precisely once for a couple who were not tech savvy but other than that I would think it would be rare.

For anyone using multiple profiles, what do they give you over just using container tabs?
Try to advise people bookstack is super opinionated. I personally don’t like it but I guess some do.
I run dokuwiki and generally like it but my only gripe is it’s not pure markdown.
Another you could check out is Otterwiki. I like a lot about it but don’t actually run it so couldn’t know entirely.

Can also use fpsync to speed things up. Handles a lot for you

Yeah. The original before this had a jack, etc. Actually want the original but apparently theyre not selling it anymore.

Same old sanewashing like anything else in today’s media.
I just use bazzite. Baked in, super easy.
Agree with op- I’ve never used it but man, big picture mode is just amazing. Simple to use and does everything I need.

This is what I have my eye on. That or a sailfish phone. Reviews seem really good so they gives me hope. Still going to be inconsistencies but that’s a tradeoff I’d make.

No thanks. Yaml isn’t perfect but by God json is best used to return and parse data, not input it.

Use maybe once every couple weeks since my dumb new phone doesn’t have a jack (and have not found a suitable adapter. Seriously, screw phone manufacturers for removing it.)
I am no audiophile but the sound is very clear. I have an old pair of Klipsch that I’ve always liked (normal buds) and they have a bit more bass/low end but the fidelity on the Reds sounds so much better. For $50 I find it hard to go wrong. Maybe if you really want more bass you’d be advised to pick something else but I listen to a bit of everything so these work well for me.
I think there is a clear upgrade from the Moondrop Chu II as well since I got those just to work out in. Just hits the sweet spot in bang for the buck if you ask me.

Whatever the guy that starts with c- reviews them all. I’ve had good luck with his truthear reds. Only $50 but great for my needs.
Edit- Truthear x Crinacle ZERO: RED

This is what gets me. They just keep voting the same people in. It’s happened so many times and people wonder why the state is shit.

That and there was no reason to kill it other than to sell BT headphones (constantly).
Somehow we had enough space and all back when phones were 4" at most. But now that theyre 6"+ somehow we just don’t have room…
This is super nice. Still a few left out but one less is good. Anyone looking to clean up their home directory can use xdj ninja .
