If /home and /var are on disk and not USB then it might be ok. The rest of the os is typically only written when installing or configuring things.
Try it, might be fun.
Imagine waking up in the middle of the night to that.

Yes, google play also has an update all option.
And if you are installing one by one, you do not have a separate download and install step. And you don’t have to wait before starting another install.
Not sure what op is seeing here.

I just disabled it. We’ll see if they can remotely enable it again or not.

I am quite sure they will say so.
Voila! In view humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the “vox populi” now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a bygone vexation stands vivified, and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin, van guarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition.
The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous.
Verily this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it’s my very good honour to meet you and you may call me V.
Batman and Robin?
iPad and android, both.
Next morning, still no joy.
Voyager and Boost both won’t load it. Common issue with videos in these apps.
I also fail to load media when there’s a cat.
Cat.
Unless other distros switch away from coreutils, it will remain the standard. It seems a lot of work for little/no upside.
