I guess the “free trial” is the tasty carrot dangling at the end of the stick to attract new “customers” to this fair and honorable practice of “product as a service”.

I see no problem: they can record the original call and postprocess it with AI live for the operators. The recordings would be the original audio.

Not a voice mod, but my voice passes as fem now, so I started talking in VC.

Started playing phasmophobia and it’s a lot of fun, but sometimes you get one or two dudes that start making “funny” mysogynistic comments and it’s pretty annoying cause it’s the Same. Thing. Every. Time.

“Oooh it’s in the kitchen, must be a woman ghost!” Looks at me to gauge my reaction.

Joins room I say hi “A FEMALE??? I’m not playing with a female” disconnects

And more. Spawntaneous is a youtuber that has a series of videos about being a “girl gamer” and it’s very eye opening. You don’t get that kind of people every match, but you do get them every couple hours you play, and even if you somehow find it funny the first time, it gets old really quick.

Yeah, although you should install the unofficial patch and widescreen mod (if needed).

Other than that, it’s still a very fun game and I do recommend it :)

The original holds up anyway, and I firmly believe they were gonna butcher it, so… is this a win?

Fair criticism. It does feel more “on rails” to me, both story-wise and gameplay-wise, but at the same time the first one was a bit too broken (which made it very enjoyable but in a different way).

Been waiting 9 years for this game and hyping myself up. Somehow I’m not disappointed, and I’m even impressed?

How the guys at Croteam manage to make such thought provoking games with some of the -if not the- best puzzle gameplay ever is beyond me.

And it’s only 28€!!! (even less if you have the original). They could’ve made it 60€, and I would’ve happily paid them. Suck it AAA!

There you go. The problem is using female as a noun (“a female”).
