Found out that docker volumes are important after restarting my server 🙃
1·4 months agoDo you charge them for it? I talked to my friend about it and he was willing to pay me for mine, even though I offered it for free.
Because of electricity use, hardware, time spent setting up/maintaining, the risk involved for me, his access to unlimited infinite media.
I just got a great Jellyfin+*arr setup running off of an old PC. Let me know if you need a hand

268·2 years agoIt IS too complicated tho. I consider myself pretty techy, but my Linux experience, just trying to do basic things like downloading a program, became a long chain of troubleshooting and installations of dependecies and searching online for answers.
Sadly, it got me REAL turned off Linux. I love the concept of it, but at the end of the day, I just want something that works.

5·2 years agoSince I switched phones, I’ve kept it at the default - bottom. Not too hard to get used to, but makes much more sense
As someone who is sort of tech savvy, but not savvy enough for Linux and all the trouble shooting that comes with it, would a Synology DS920+ be good?
