Not that it wasn’t a thing before, but it got way worse after the pandemic. A lot of people really forgot how to act in public after staying home for an extended period.

Isn’t “profiting off of owning a home” one of the main reasons why housing is a problem right now?
Hell, even if you can easily afford way more than that, you are still closer to the person who can only afford $2 of food a day than a billionaire.
There’s only one grocery store in my city that bakes a specific type of bread from my home country. I make sure to buy 2 packs almost every week so they notice that they are being bought and don’t stop making them.
Tilda because you can roll it down from the top of your screen with one key press.
Ok the push notification pop up started to piss me off halfway down lol. But yeah, this is a cool demonstration.
Like the “Come to Brazil!” comments on every music video or concert on youtube.
The only barrier to entry is creating a usb installer. Once you’re past that, there’s nothing more than basic computer knowledge to do what you need to do. By basic, I mean knowing how to use a computer, so you should be good. Just choose a user friendly distro like Mint and you won’t need to open the terminal at all unless something really bad happens.
Not directed at you specifically, but it’s the same with IT and dev people but with security/privacy.
I was actually surprised Netflix took this on given some themes and scenes can be considered controversial today. So I’m cautiously optimistic because I feel like they might change some of it to tone it down.

I think since a lot of privacy conscious people use Firefox, the preferred way is to have it as opt-in, not turned on by default.
10-15 minute brownbag sessions. People won’t be bothered to read privacy guides links you send them. Bribe them with food. Try to get them all together somewhere with the promise of some snacks/drinks then have an interactive session about what you want to discuss. Don’t make it a lecture, make it like a casual conversation. Pick a topic and start with a real life event that happened that may directly affect them (i.e. the recent ssn breach). That will get them engaged.
Pot meets kettle.
Thanks, now I’ll always see it.
I unfortunately am not able to watch current shows as they air, but the latest one I saw was Kaiju No. 8 which I believe came out earlier this year. It was pretty good, and I hope they do season 2 soon.
You’ll know it when you feel the satisfaction of getting to enter pacman -Syu
in the terminal several times a day and a new update or two. lol
I already do, and most hardware in the office are macbooks, toshibas, and dells. Also, it’s no longer as common for companies to allow employees to buy/adopt old hardware and they choose to recycle instead.
I wish someone randomly gifted me a thinkpad as well
I saw this last year because I happened upon it on netflix: Rascal Does Not Dream Of Bunny Girl Senpai. It’s a bit horny, but it does have a lot of slice-of-life scenes and moments.
