That is true. Albeit attending a meeting doesn’t necessarily mean you’re gonna be selling your soul to Meta. Hopefully, those that do decide to attend stand up for the communities that are being built in the Fediverse.

Meta (parent of Facebook, instagram…etc) want to have their content to become federated and part of Lemmy and Mastodon.

Meta has been asking Mastodon and Lemmy server admins to have a “off the record” discussion panel. They told meta to fuck off.

Anyways, I 100% agree with you. These containers cost pennies, not dollars. From a business standpoint having take out containers is part of overhead i.e what you absolutely need to be in a functional business. Some restaurants are trying to flex their overhead and turn it into a profit maker.

“You know what, those containers that we’ve been providing for free since forever ago, let’s start charging a 150% markup on the container and start making money on them!”

I pretty much exclusively played shooters growing up. Call of Duty is the big one. I haven’t played COD in almost 10 years.

I got to a point where gaming was pretty stale. I was playing on a console mind you. I made the jump to pc gaming and the amount of diversified games rekindled my enjoyment. Playing MOBAs, mmorpgs, and even shooters that are pc exclusive.

Long story short, need to diversify. Play games in categories you’ve rarely dived into before and find something new. Playing the same 5 or 6 game series is bound to get boring for anyone.
