Not this particular picture. The ad is for a funeral service in Berlin but the station depicted is Hamburg Messehallen. Though I think there are real pictures of ads like this from within Berlin.
Grammar aside, it’s an odd choice to fill up half the page with 747s if you want to showcase the variety of commercial passenger airplanes.
I did read the post (well done btw), but I guess I must have missed that. And here I thought I was a comedic genius
Actually the correct answer is clearly 0.2609 if you follow the order of operations correctly:
6/2(1+2)
= 6/23
= 0.26
It’s not “considered trendy”, your understanding of communism – an economic system – is just conflated with authoritarianism – a political system. You can advocate for one without advocating for the other.
That said, capitalism also leads to the deaths of millions, but somehow that’s just an unquestionable fact of life.
You can also just use the “Following” feed instead of the default “For you” feed, it’s sorted chronologically and doesn’t have ads
Like when Covid lockdowns were causing shortages and every right winger said “this is what life under socialism would look like” without a hint of irony
Huh…? Salzburg is pretty small and so is its airport. What route would you have to take that you end up in a small, barely international airport and not realize at your last transfer that you were in the wrong part of the world?
Here’s a really small and easy to fix pet peeve of mine: graphics options that cycle through the levels of fidelity with inconsistent scales. I like to set my graphics to max, try it out, and then adjust down where needed. It’s very annoying if a game doesn’t stop where the max option is, so if it’s currently at “High” I have no idea if the next option to the right is going to be “Very High” or “Low” again. So I often end up overshooting the highest setting and having to go back one, or purposefully going to the lowest setting and then one further.
Intelligence also doesn’t necessarily translate to actual success. I’ve been through numerous assessments as a child that confirmed I am comfortably in the “green zone” (if measured by IQ, that is), but I also have pretty severe ADHD so I can only really make use of my brain for short periods of time.
I can get a week’s worth of work done in a day, but only once a week, and I spend the rest of the week wondering where I’d be if only I could work like that every day. I was also a decent student in school/uni but never near the top of the class, because I couldn’t bring myself to study for anything more than a few days before the exam.
Ah got it, millions of people suffering is not a lot, so it must not be a real issue. You’re the worst kind of person.
those people experiencing food insecurity barely make up anything
Then it should be easy to feed them with just a fraction of the food that’s thrown away?? How you could possibly say that and think it helps your point is beyond me.
Currently, as much as 40% of food is thrown away in the US, while millions of people experience food insecurity. The scarcity is fully intentional.
It could be that the epoch is the start of 2003, so any train with a reset week counter shows 2003, and now they all do since the counter has overflowed late last year.
The fact that they use a week counter in general is something I remember from someone familiar with the onboard computer system, but I don’t remember how it’s set up specifically unfortunately.
How did you get to that epoch? I haven’t seen any images of this happening earlier than 2003, so the overflow must have happened late last year or early this year, and whatever week 0 is is some time around 2002/2003. That would also fit with your comment that they were introduced in the early 2000s.
Maybe they just didn’t expect the trains to last 20 years 😄
The train is using a week counter internally that overflowed. 17.11.2003 is exactly 1024 (2^(10)) weeks ago.
Right, because the only alternative to gas cars is to have the same amount of cars, just electric… and if she can’t personally make the supply chain for those cars ethical, her entire argument is invalid! Another liberal owned by facts & logic
300 posts is what, maybe 10 minutes of scrolling if you don’t actually engage with much of the content…? Brilliant idea.
TIL it’s entitled to ask that software you use is either compliant with the law or clearly lets you know that it isn’t, especially when the developers have no idea what the law is
