It took a couple of months or so, it was long ago. A few days ago I found the original torrent file while cleaning old HDDs and I tried to reseed the torrent but all the trackers seemed dead.
If they have a patreon I found something a couple of times on kemono, it wasn’t up to date but it was good enough for what I wanted to check.
It is possible, I’ve done it myself. I had two dead torrents with 0 seeders that I really suspected were the exact same thing, so one day I changed the destination folders to point at the same place, it worked.
What I don’t think I did is to have both torrents active at the same time while downloading.
No, I was thinking about a bootable USB stick with a linux distro like those you use to try the distro before installation but with wine/proton and one game preinstalled. Everything non essential for the game stripped away. You could even make the game to start right away to make it feel like plugging a cartridge in a console.
I don’t know if it is what you’re asking, but you just made me think of a bootable DVD or USB with a linux distro with the bare minimum to run well the one game installed.
That would be cool.
Wow, that sounds horrible. Now I wonder how it is for the rest.
I can understand why they decided to not publish the result. I live in Spain, I have no clue how is it in other European countries but here it’s like they only take any action when something becomes very widespread or touches the football.
So it is a bit like as they read the report and decided to not spend too much on that.
Thanks! Now I understand it much better. I’m saving it for future reference. As soon as I get a new drive I’m trying it.
Thanks again!
How is the process now? Last time I tried, a few years ago, the whole thing was so confusing to me that it was much easier to get a second ssd and dual boot windows. Now I’m planning to ditch windows completely but I haven’t looked into it yet.
I remember there was a add game button then add the installer but once the installer finished I didn’t know where the game went. I only remember installing successfully the witcher 3 not being sure how.
Do I need a static ip if I plan to only use it locally from my home network?
For me it was that it didn’t like how the NAS shares are mounted by default so it didn’t recognise their paths as valid.
