I’ve been using GIMP for almost 15 years at this point.

I have Photoshop, but I prefer GIMP as it is open source and has a bunch of community plug ins that are really easy to find and use.

To be fair, a dead pope trial is always a good time.

If ever this happens, I think of it a challenge. Most of these are easy enough to get around.

If I can’t get around it, then I’ll bring the issue to the larger ublock origin community.

Really, though, I know the ‘me’ of about 20 years ago would be shocked to hear this, but the whole Microsoft suite with Outlook is pretty comfortable to run and use. I use it when hosting websites for my business, and it’s always worked how I needed it.

Beyond that, I used Thunderbird for years and that’s my go-to client when I want to go free. It’s easy to set up and people usually love using a Mozilla product.
