If the filename has a space, a good solution without adjusting the files is to use quotes: "$FILENAME-synced.mkv"
Edit: generally, as a good practice, quote all variables. If you had FILENAME="my file"and tried to use it asffprobe $FILENAMEit wouldn't work, because variables are evaluated *before* interpreting the command, so effectively it evaluates toffprobe my file(two arguments).ffprobe "$FILENAME"on the other hand evaluates toffprobe “my file”` (onr argument) and works properly no matter the file name.

A script is just a list of commands. You can likely already execute your file as bash <filename> and get the same result. To use arguments, simply refer to them by number ($1 is the first argument, etc.).
Bonus: you can use a shebang to make it feel like an executable. Put /bin/bash as the first line, then make it executable via chmod +x <filename>, and now yoi can run it like ./<filename>

Why are you not simply writing a script with an argument? Why this cat indirection with environment variables?

Have a look at https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Backlight it explains how to do this in the first section

I typically have one DB service per app service (not just ler cluster, unless multiple services need the same db).
Advantages:
Disadvantages:
I don’t know of a distro that does.
You can start remmina from the terminal, it should spit out an error. I believe, you need to install additional libraries for full rdp support, but it should tell you

Click on the release (green thingy after description) and download apk

The good ones are 30 years old. The one they needed to fix is the sony one, which was not specified how old but “modern” implies not very.

The certificate of example.com refreshed just a few hours ago, if verification fails on your system check your clock (do time and timezone match?)

Steam does not dictate what is standard on Linux. Just because they have not tested with this setup does not mean it isn’t standard.

There is no single standard DE on Linux. KDE and Gnome are the biggest ones, and most distros ship with flavors for either. So is KDE non-standard if I install it on regular Ubuntu (which ships with Gnome)? And besides, as the commenter above said, wlroots is one of the few big participants in deciding the wayland protocols, so they are most certainly standard, as standard as any wayland compositor.
Opening a new terminal should work, since those commands you posted affect just the running shell. If not, you broke something else.
Edit: Assuming you pit that export line into ~/.bashrc, just remove it. You might need to enable showing hidden files in your file explorer, them edit it as a text file.

Unlisting just means they’re not shown in searches, the video is still available, so storage has nothing to do with it
Of course it won’t do anything, you need to update (refresh the index) before you upgrade (download and install updates), silly you

I actually had to test this with my hardware, Win11 is atrocious. I don’t have exact numbers, but Win11 uses so much more RAM for itself that it’s really noticeable how it just gets slower so much faster when I open stuff.
Latvia is partly involved, yes, but it’s also part Russian and recently moved to Singapore. You may find the history section on Wikipedia interesting; it also lists the russian part-ownership as reason for many users leaving OnlyOffice (and I’ve seen quite a few posts on that at the time).
As for the open-source part, I stand corrected, thank you
From what I can tell, OnlyOffice has the best compatibility and the nicest UI (similar to MS office), same as with the regular applications. NextCloud Office is based on LibreOffice (officially Collabora, which is their name for the web product), so again same as the regular applications you’ll have some compatibility issues. That said, if you don’t need compatibility with existing documents or only documents made with LibreOffice, either is fine.
One concern many have is that OnlyOffice is closed source (edit: my bad, it’s been open-source for a long time) and russian based (edit: partially russian, see Wikipedia), while LibreOffice is open source.
If you need finer control than recursive chmod (see other replies), you can also use find to match precisely which files/folders you want and use the -exec parameter to run chmod on those
Thanks! Typed this on mobile, must have missed the key
