Some intern is getting fired
Ah okay! That’s neat. Especially for the less technically inclined
I don’t get it. Was that not a thing already?
it died a long time ago
The main reason I started using Linux is because I wanted to use tiling window managers. Maybe take a look at some of those. It’s the same idea as Fancy zones just cranked up to 100
Of course it’s not necessary, but it’s nice to have - it’s convenient.Thas always the decision you have to make. Either you sell away your data and freedom, and live “convenient”, or you don’t.
I know that some people have gotten Google pay to work on their rooted phone, but I’ve had no luck on my Samsung
Unfortunately it seems to suffer from the same problems that other custom ROMs like GrapheneOS have these days. The same goes for if you root your stock OS. Like all the normal Android stuff works (even better) but as soon as you want to for example use the tap-payment features or the ID stuff from your government it doesn’t work. Also good luck trying to use for example Samsung smartwatches
It is. BlueSky or for short BS (ha!) just took the open standard and closed it again!
Termux.
If you don’t know terminal it’s intimidating I guess l, but you can Google how to find duplicates in linux, and xdg-open works well in termux for preview
Be sure to enable allow-external-apps in ~/.termux/termux.properties
I sure there are more user-friendly way to do this but this works 100%
COPIUM MAN
I love it
This is important when windows inevitably dies (subscription-based Windows 12?!) and linux mint gets flooded. Better have the “new” thing from the start
The whole “incognito” confusion is just because
Holy fuck my dyslexia tuned “AI tidies” into something really funny
These guys do the real work rarely appreciated
If your server is not “online” you could vpn into your home network and use it that way. Another option is to have it local, meaning for example with bit/vault-warden you can still view your passwords if you don’t have connection. But you can’t edit or add new ones
I wrote a blog some time ago why selfhosting email sucks
https://nx2.site/email-selfhosting
If you just want the email server for only you and your friends, or for internal messages, selfhosting email can be fun, but your main email should probably not be selfhosted.
