Sorry to hear that. Hope things get better soon.

It's running Blue Iris with Codproject AIEnglish1·4 months agoYeah I used deepstack before, and it had a lot better detection times, but recently BI switched to using CodeProjectAI as the supported ai, so I moved over to that. It’s not as performant as Deepstack. Maybe I should try going back to deepstack even if it’s not officially supported.

It's running Blue Iris with Codproject AIEnglish3·4 months agoI bought that desktop exactly for that reason. The video recording itself seems to work fine, but the ai model seems to be struggling sometimes, and even when it works, it takes about half a second or more to make a classification. That’s what I want to improve with the gpu. I’m reading up on openvio, and it seems impressive, but only on frigate. Do you have any experience with Frigate vs Blue iris? What are your thoughts?
That’s a shame

How is AOSP? Is it still good without all the proprietary code from Google? The last I read about it, I read that Google purposely put a lot of functionality into the play services to keep the code proprietary. Has that gimped AOSP, or is it still strong?

I’ve read some studies that talk about how cabbages in a patch release a warning scent when one of them is being harvested. The scent actually propagates, and even non harvested cabbages release the scent further down the patch to warn other cabbages.
I mean, people hardly ever eat carnivores. Even pigs, which are omnivores, are 90% of the time herbivores. I don’t even eat meat, but this argument never made sense to me. Yes, there are countries where people eat dogs, but that doesn’t mean dogs and cats are equivalent to cattle. You can make an argument for horses though.
When I was graduating college 15 years ago, I wanted to create a professional firstname.lastname email. Outlook.com was starting to get traction and Hotmail was getting phased out, but I was advised to create my professional email under Hotmail.com because it would seem ‘more professional’.
My main email is still the 007 related gmail I created first.
My comments and posts deleted using power delete have been coming back one by one.

Fun to see that actually happening. 2 years is a very short period of time for deleting.
My Canon laser printer works fine on Linux. I have had trouble setting up custom paper size, but I have made it work. Unfortunately, I distro hop a lot, and feel too lazy to try setting it up again.

My only issue was that the opi method to install aur like packages was not as good as using aur itself, so I have recently moved back to arch.
There is mobiscribe wave in both bw and color. The company is shutting down, so they’re selling off their inventory for cheap. I bought a pen support bw notebook for $100 and a color pen supported notebook for $170.
