installed Linux Mint on various apple macbooks i got second hand and the battery life is abysmal.
the witcher 3 is great It shows short sentences but Geralt doesn’t exactly say that and usually develops a little more. If you are impatient, you can choose a simple sentence and skip the talking without losing the general meaning. You can also listen to the whole thing.
it’s a good sci-fi, 4X, turn-based video game. The lore is about an extinct powerful godlike civilization called the endless. Many artifacts / places / technologies / songs are called “… …of the endless”. So the title “Dream of the Endless” made me think of it
is this an endless space reference ?
those promises don’t constrain them in any way other than PR. They can promise anything they like and are completely free to do whatever they want after that
Mandatory Dishonored 1 and 2 recommendation, but Prey is also very good
The game doesn’t really want you to spare enemies. It’s just that there are 3 different ways to play the game and 3 different flavors of the story : low, mid and high chaos. I think you should feel free to massacre everyone, and then maybe start over a new game and try lower chaos !
Same here with Vivaldi.
yes i’m talking about the startup speed. It’s not as bad as snap, but noticeably slower with some apps (it can be annoying for a web browser for example)
Flatpaks are my second choice when there isn’t a recent enough version in the repos. They’re fine but take 1. too much storage space, and 2. are usually slower
Actually, morphine is excellent at stopping coughing. Probably not wise, but efficient
pretty sure the shitty sticker on the plastic product made in China easily tears for economic reasons, and not environmental reasons.
i’ve been distro-hopping a lot and always come back to linux mint. It’s that one distro i can’t fuck up when fiddling with things. it just works
Old Intel crapbook air from 2013 or 2015. The battery life wasn’t ever great, but it significantly diminished when i changed them to linux. I expected an increase…
