This was also in Aldi!
Didn’t realise but apparently the price cards aren’t paper anymore, they’re e-ink now. Saw one change in front of my eyes and I thought I was seeing things! Must be some sort of dynamic pricing thing they do so that they’re always cheaper than whoever is cheapest or something.

This is like uninstalling Windows, installing Linux, and then blaming Microsoft because a feature you used in Windows doesn’t work in Linux
Truly the only subscription I’m happy to pay.
Always like the idea of the Fairphone but I always find the chip to be a bit lacking.
Like if it had (at least) last years flagship chip then I feel like it’d be less of a compromise and the switch to a more sustainable phone would be a much easier sell.
Can’t imagine using a chip that’s deemed ‘lacking’ now is going to feel any better 4 years down the line.
Yeah in hindsight I should’ve put ‘security reasons’ in inverted commas
IIRC this used to be a thing on older versions of Android (Ice Cream Sandwich, etc.) but they restricted it to media only in later versions for security reasons.
Someone please correct me if I’m misremembering!
It’s a shame because out of all the WearOS watches available the TicWatches seem to be the best bang for buck (personally a massive fan of the dual screen thing), but they just don’t support their products.
Was looking for my first ‘proper’ smartwatch and was considering whatever the newest TicWatch, but was put off from Reddit comments and YouTube comments saying that they hope Mobvoi support this watch better than the last ones.
I was lucky, someone else who doesn’t land on the same pages and see the same things I did might not be, and will be suckered into buying something that will be a paperweight in a couple of years (tops).
Sadly there are a lot of people out there who buy things without doing any research whatsoever, and will just buy the cheapest printer that suits their needs
