I had a Sony phone once. It was shite. Couldn’t remember the date and time on a reboot.
It was crap in other ways too but that was the one that annoyed me the most. Obviously the majority of the price went on the name and not the phone. Shame really, Sony used to be a name that meant quality, now they’re just another bunch of MBA-led enshittifiers.
Well everybody likes to think they’re original.

You aren’t paid by the hour as long as it suits the company. As soon as it suits you, you’re damn well going to sit there until 5pm staring at the ceiling if you have to, THEN you can go home.
Which countries have been successful in implementing your preferred alternative?
Well let’s have a look at the Tory track record of implementing things effectively. How about Boris’s oven ready deal? Seems he didn’t have one. Was he lying? Or did he have one that he thought the EU would accept until they laughed him out of the room? How’s the Rwanda plan going? How much has it cost so far? How many flights have left? Hmm.
So where you come from, you welcome no races, no religions, no countries of origin, no sexual orientations, no genders; you don’t stand with them and they’re not safe, and the restrooms are a complete free for all?
If they have value to the company then how about sharing the costs of commuting? A 50-50 split seems reasonable to me. The company gets the value of those conversations, and the plebs get some help with all that fuel they now have to buy, at ridiculous prices due to high oil prices.
It’s nice that the bottom right one helps you practice your maths. “Exit 164 Miles” is just so boring.
Maybe nobody actually knows the answer, except probably Reddit devs and the managers that made them push those changes out, neither of which will be at liberty to say.
We can all speculate - they’re doing something for the sake of being seen to be doing something instead of actually blocking the content; they don’t want to block the content selectively because that means KYC and lots of people get upset about that sort of thing, etc etc.

You should probably read the book some time. People called him king but it wasn’t a title he wanted or requested; the only title he used of himself was “Son of man”. He didn’t request anyone to lop ears off (and in fact repeately tried to drill into people that the way forward is love) and on the one occasion it’s documented he rebuked the lopper and stuck the ear back on. It was the Pharisees and Sadducees that got riled up because Jesus exposed their hypocrisy, and the local leaders originally weren’t interested because they just saw it as an internal religious matter, but the P&S knew what buttons to push and that’s what got JC crucified. Pilate actually said he couldn’t see what Jesus had done wrong.

Maybe, but I think it’ll take a bit longer. Reddit’ll be given some artificial value, then the initial stock will be flogged at 80% of that to make people think they’re getting a good deal, so loads of people will buy it, then the price’ll shoot up, so loads more people will buy that; meanwhile Spez’ll cash out his billions then when the true value of Reddit is realised there’ll be a “correction” - i.e. a crash, and the last bunch of suckers to buy will be sitting on a huge loss that’ll take years to recover from as it slowly inches back up by a couple of percent a year.
Maybe, but they’ve also been well assisted by those countries which are shining examples of SC&L but have failed to get their messages across the world. Perhaps replies to this comment could indicate which countries those are, for some independent research.
Scanners, picture editors and colour printers have been a thing for quite a while now, what’s stopping anyone fixing it for themselves?
