Dark energy is worth try, too. Lots of cool side quests and stuff to do.
Thats why I love some of the hack roms. You can set it so its basically walk up, press A, no talky, little animation song, then done.
Right? Somehow schools survived until at least the 2010s without every kid having a cellphone in them at all times.
Bruh, you can’t spare two whole dollars for something you’re going to be using every day? Like, I use Jerboa, which is free, but I still signed up for dessalines patreon to support their work.
The future is either free to use, but put up with ads, or pay a meager amount to support the developers so ads arent required to sustain the product.
Yep, the centralizing of announcements is a bigger issue than link aggregation.
I work in pest control and want to follow several industry experts and guess what? They only use twitter to disseminate information because they’re mostly academic and don’t follow too much online drama.
I want to continue following them, but need to create a Twitter account to do so since Musk’s new ideas broke the website recently and you can no longer lurk without an account.
So I am torn between trying to follow experts and improve myself as a professional, or cut myself off from that source of information in order to try and reduce the amount of traffic that twitter gets.
The problem here is that they used an old photo and shopped Mick Mars out and John5 in, because they either can’t be bothered to take any new promo photos of the band, or the difference between how much better John 5 looks than the rest of those washed-up has-beens is so stark that they don’t want to.
He should change his name to Vince Meal, amirite?
I really dont get this “Lemmy/Mastodon is sooooo haaaaard to sign up for”. I’m a barely technoliterate 30 something who’s closest thing to coding knowledge is the Missingno cheat in Pokemon Blue, and I figured it out. Its not that hard.
Like, the instances/server thing is the only real extra step you have in signing up, but besides that, its like signing up for any other website.
Right? We are literally in the 21st century, but still cling to the ideals and customs of the industrial revolution.
TalkLittle is on Tildes, but thats invite only ATM.
I really, really hope that he can find the time to make LiF, or KbiniF, or some other fediverse browsing app because man was RiF perfect (for me at least) in every way.
Im trying several others while they work out the kinks in Jerboa (it doesnt work very welll if you use Lemmy.World as your instance), but it honestly feels the best out of all of them.
I’m coming from RiF is Fun, so it reminds me a lot of their layout.
The entirely of modern America could be summarized with “Mildly Infiruating”, tbh.
It is utterly baffling to me how the US has not figured out nationalized healthcare. Literally every other developped nation in the western hemisphere has at this point.
Its crazy that a politician could come out and say “my number one priority is to ensure that every American has access to healthcare, paid for by the state”, and would instantly be villified by like half the country.
Frank is new to Lemmy. Pls forgib.
It just started, though. I’m sure once they get over the hiccough of the influx of new users, itll run smoother.
I haven’t had any issues with crashing (so far).
Americans will use anything but metric smdh.
