  • I assume it’s a regional thing. “Instant ramen” are noodles or 2 minute noodles here. It’s rarely labelled as ramen and never called it.

From childhood I knew about ramen from anime and I knew about instant ramen from American media but I didn’t learn until later that they aren’t the same thing and instant reman is just 2 minute noodles.

I remember reading somewhere that “we are the most exciting thing to happen in our pets’ lives”. It’s why I never get annoyed if my dog gets excited to see me.

She’s pretty old now so no more jumping but every now and then lick or nip at my hands for a pat and it’s not because she’s being naughty, she’s just so excited to see me and wants some attention.

  • Also helps eye strain or eye related health problems.

I suffer from headaches from overstimulation and warm screen tones help with that. A friend of mine who works in IT once had an eye infection, when he went back to work he was still struggling but when I told him about f.lux (back before it was a feature built into OS’s) it helped him a lot.

I’ve never been sold on ‘blue light’ being a problem but there’s definitely something that makes warm tones just a bit nicer on the eyes.

I’d also like to apologise for that last video, I didn’t realise she was underage. Pulls out ukulele I will now sing my apology.

  • I’ve been single for 3 years and haven’t had a date in 2 years. Not for a lack of trying but I’m in a fairly remote area, most singles nearby aren’t my type (putting it very politely) and last but not least; dating apps absolutely promote ’Tinder culture’.

Dating apps will recommend me supermodel gold diggers 120km’s away before someone close with something in common. And then the chances of matching are low to none.

At least this Fate app seems to be trying something different and (seemingly) positive. I’d give it a go, can’t be any worse than what I’m using already.
