The dreams in which I’m dying…
to be honest YouTube has great content because of the video length allowed. You can find all sorts of tutorials on pretty much anything. Instagram and TikTok, on the other hand, fit your description much better.
damn, I’m absolutely with you on BOTW. Steel swords breaking within 10 uses is ridiculous
One of my first interactions with an in-game fantasy computer GUI was Final Fantasy VIII. You had this newsletter you could read on the Balamb Garden’s computers, or take the SeeD exams to improve your grade. Was really neato.
NA is great because of the characters. They’re extremely well fleshed out and undergo a serious growth during the game events. I think that if you don’t care about the characters then it’s not worth playing. Plot and combat are accessories to the character developments.
Everyone likes to hate on Ubisoft but as far as open worlds go, it’s difficult to find more content-filled ow than Immortals and AC Valhalla. There are actually so many, many things to do around every corner it can get very tiring. Puzzles, subquests, races, dungeons, unique enemies… everywhere.
How is the story lame? It’s one of the most original stories I’ve ever seen in a videogame.
I agree about Skyrim. The entire world feels dead, the npcs are lifeless. It’s really hard for me to feel the world and the story. The Witcher 3 came out only 4 years later and it’s several orders of magnitude better to me.
well I’m Italian and I think we all see the flaws in our own language. Italian for example is easy to pronounce but has a crazily difficult grammar. English on the other hand has a very easy grammar but an incredibly difficult pronunciation to the point where you have to learn how each single word is pronounced (or spelled) because there are no phonetic rules. French has a bit of both, I guess.
to be honest those same quirks apply to English as well…
You should avoid battle royals and first person shooters. MMORPGs have created communities since their inceptions, I believe. I think FFXIV would fit your description.
I’m still in the “find a girlfriend” stage
Nothing, really. I’ve put Valhalla and Breath of the Wild on hold, I don’t feel like gaming lately. But I’m hugely hyped for FFVII Rebirth.
tbh I like W10, I grew up with 98 but the slight UI modifications of 10 (like the expanded and customizable start menu) felt necessary to me.
W11 however… that’s a pile of shit as it is very clear it aims to be pretty to casual users more than it aims to be useful and streamlined.
