It’s also worth it to point out that, for people that care about supporting content creators but don’t want to or can’t afford to do so individually through services like Patreon, Youtube Premium views pay creators far more than a regular view.
If you’re impacted, it makes YouTube Premium more expensive than Spotify Premium and Apple Music.
I find this particular comparison interesting to bring up. A Youtube Premium subscription also includes a Youtube Music sub (at least in the US, not sure about everywhere else). Which theoretically makes those subscriptions unnecessary as well (ignoring differences in catalog, device availability, etc. of course).

Even a broken clock is right twice a day. Even as a general user I’ve come across illegal shit on Telegram, so they clearly aren’t even attempting to moderate. It would be absolutely zero surprise that obvious terrorist organizations like ISIL would be using the platform for some communication and recruiting. And that doesn’t even get into subjective shit like Russian aggression and attacks on civilians in Ukraine, which many would consider terrorist attacks.
Allowing criminal activity to go unmoderated on the platform. Including but not limited to fraud, drug trafficking, cyberbullying, organized crime and promotion of terrorism.
I have, not often, but I have. That being said, Samsung phones have had a similar setting since at least the S7 series.
It’s not about a single app, it’s about multitasking without having to reload apps.
At various times I’ve juggled between 4 apps at once on my phone. Say something like Messaging, Firefox, maybe a lemmy app, and Bitwarden for logging into something.
They have 16GB of RAM physically, 3GB is reserved for AI. So yeah, only 13GB is usable by regular apps, even if you don’t care about any of the AI stuff.
This is what I did after running consumer Linksys and ASUS routers, including with OpenWRT.
I moved to a Unifi setup and haven’t had any issues. I can manage it remotely if I need to, like another household member needs something changed or fixed. I’ve never had to restart it to fix an issue, it just works.
Easy upgrades without having to replace the entire setup and move settings over manually. Especially easy wireless upgrades, almost just plug and play replacing the old access point antenna.
And if you need just a small setup and you run a home server you can run the management software on there instead of something like their dedicated Cloud Key device.

The in-screen one on my Pixel 6 works maybe 50% of the time, and for whatever reason just hates my right thumb, the one it really needs to be able to read. Even with it saved 5 times.

I never compared babies to abusers. I compared Stockholm Syndrome to the evolutionary mental and hormonal responses parents have for their progeny. They’re both unconscious mental responses brought on by an external stimulus. An inconvenient comparison of course, but simple.

Blood and Wine was exceptional. Much like Shadow of the Erdtree, there was enough content added that they could have almost justified releasing it as a full game. There are full games released today with less content than Blood and Wine brought to TW3.
