I just realized that the mains hum would be different in 60Hz compared to 50Hz… I wonder if it’s noticeable
I use newsboat, if you’re used to the terminal.

The guy is right about being able to do things without looking. I remember using speed-dial to open a text conversation and send a message without ever looking at my phone. It was pretty great.
I’ll try to type without looking: this is me round without looking in a phone keyboards. Yeah, it just doesn’t work as well without knowing where exactly I’m pressing.
It would be hard to make a phone slim enough and handle a physical keyboard again, but it would be awesome. It would make writing code on mobile a possibility again. Today it’s too tedious.

Do you think they had good reasons? If not, care to explain why?
If people prevent something being used by tons of other people for no good reason, then this would be a very good one to “hold a grudge” against them for.
Are you talking about the DDoSers or the admins of lemmy.world? Because, yes, everyone who is trying to use lemmy.world that can’t should hold a grudge against the skids who bought a DDoS service subscription.
If you’re talking about the admins, you should be more specific. Are you saying that them defederating from another instance is a good reason for that other instance’s users to hold a grudge and DDoS? Because I would bed to differ if that’s the case.
