So, like, Ventoy with persistence?

I wish we could get ‘nothing’ as an option.
At overall some options for de-clattering the menu.

The picture is from Firefox mobile.
Missed the ‘and why’.
I’ve tried quite a few other custom ROMs in the past.
I’m using those because of privacy. Plus, I feel like they are very lightweight comparing stock ROM.
After the new changes Google would make, I’d install custom ROM, even if I didn’t care about privacy. So I’ll be able install any app I desire. From F-Droid, GitHub, amd even apps like Vanced.
Not exactly sure what you’re asking.
I THINK you ask about the 3rd option.
I’ve used, and still using GrapheneOS, CalyxOS, and LineageOS.
Also tried a few others in the past.

There’s no Linux, MacOS, and Windows. There’s only ‘computer’. The computer works or does not.
Sometimes they’ll know Apple has computers too, and they’re different. That’s usually basically it.

I don’t believe most people would know about the change, and if they will, I doubt they’ll care.
As long stuff don’t break, people don’t care about OSs. It’s just as nerds.

I’d recommend Shelter over a regular user, so you won’t have to switch between them; but it works too, if you prefer it this way.

Have you tried creating another ‘profile’ (user)?
I’ve used banking apps on LOS and GrapheneOS, it worked great and never complained.
The fricking AUR
Nothing I don’t _actually_ need
Pacman
Everything is the latest version available–ALWAYS.
ArchWiki

You could use Sound Toggle.
It’s not *just* the DND toggle, but a sound mode toggle, open-source app.

Have you tried using a wayback machine?

Arch, so pretty much nothing.
Except maybe ZSH (but it’s ‘added’, I guess; not ‘replaced’).

If you need anyway, you might be better with just Rufus.

I saw one commenter suggested Arch itself. IMO it’s even a better idea than EOS.
archinstall doesn’t have GUI, but it has very nice TUI (like what you have when you use htop), and you could finish selecting the options in very few minutes.

If you’re already used to Arch-based systems, and enjoy the convenience of the AUR, what about EndeavourOS?
It’s basically Arch with GUI install scripts, and a different wallpaper.
I forgot to mention how does it helps…
Those kind of apps (banking too) do usually work on different profile, from experience.
E: rewording
You could use Shelter for secondary ‘profile’ (user).

Not OP, but some of them have non-JS version, in addition to the regular JS version; but yeah, a lot of sites are broken.
Make sure they /actually work/ on your computer; not for nothing Debian started to include proprietary drivers by default.
If you switch to <fully-free-os> and nothing works, then what?
We would all prefer no proprietary code whatsoever, but prefer even more that stuff would work.
If you really want to go for fully libre route, I’d consider buying –in the future or now, depends on how much do you want it right now– the correct hardware for it.
