I used to play this a lot. Somehow I had the creativity to make movies in the game back then. Even without knowing how to read English, and scrolling few dozens of scene template et cetera.

TheGamer came out of nowhere too. Back when I used faceboook almost a decade ago, I used to follow a gaming meme page. They post typical gaming shitposts of that era. They had massive followers, and big engagements.

Then one day every shitpost they post is branded with TheGamer logo, the page renamed to TheGamer. I don’t remember the original page name but it gave me disingenious vibe from both of them, I suspected the page has been sold & ownership transferred to TheGamer.

Back then I do have silly loyalty to stuff that I like, so I feel betrayed when they sold themselves to a sloppy article site.

Every once in a while they’d post buzzfeed-type of articles from their website. I eventually unfollowed the page.

Meh I’ve been feeling that since 2018, release of RTX cards and raytracing marketing hype. Since then my perception towards AAA games have become harder to reach; require newer hardware, bigger disk space, better internet to download and more expensive price.

Though that already happen for a decade maybe. Battlefield 3 and 4 all DLC require 40-60 GB download. That would eat about 10 hours download.

I’ve been using Rhythmbox since the first time I tried linux in 2016 on Ubuntu.

I realized the lids are not wrong just not placed in the right spot.

NewPipe have been working again for months for me. But until about a couple of weeks ago “related video” list in the video player was broken, didn’t show anything. It’s now works fine.

But I also still have PipePipe any case either of them broken, I’m falling back to the other one.

I don’t know about NewPipe developmet stop rumour, but I remember reading their readme.md that they’ve been working a significant rewrite of the app.

Metro 2033 and Half-Life 2 lol, I cannot play horror games. I quit Metro, couldn’t help myself.

But at least I completed all HL games apart from Alyx. With all achievements on base HL2 and EP2.

Ravenholm was manageable if I play without sound 🤣 But there was a long tunnel section in EP1 that was very uncomfortable and dark, felt longer than Ravenholm.

My friend who’s a phsycology student will hear about this meme
