and if they pull and rfid off your phone, or a bluetooth/wifi ping to of the apps you have running in the background like the walmart app, and are pricing per individual, it won’t matter what time you go to shop, your price is gonna be your price whenever you show up
I guess we’ll have to take photos of every item we pick from the shelves, so if the register attempts to charge more, or somehow misses a sale, we will have to get our phones out and say hey this was the price when i picked it. I got my S10 and Android 12, and I’m feeling fine (edit: they start making smart phones with removable storage, removable batteries, and a headphone jack, and i’d consider getting a later model, but there’s absolutely fucking zero that’s come out in the last 6 years I’ve had my S10 that I need, and a whole lot that I’d lose, so, fuck em, they’re doing this to themselves)

I wanna like Pixel, and they look enticing making the jump from Samsung, but every new release is borked somehow, every one, major borkage, battery, software, lenses, cameras, etc. Every single release. Borked. So, I’m probably not going to jump in just yet … again
same with my S10, at some point though app vendors will stop allowing their apps to run on our o/s and security versions, i think we still have a couple years before that happens, but eventually it’s going to happen, and on that day i will curse the gods
Galaxy S10 Android 12 UI 4.1 til the wheels come off (a.k.a banking/gpay apps stop working due to lack of latest security updates), there are no advances in the last 6 years that I’ve owned my phone which in any way have tempted me to throw out another thousand dollars for.
In six years I’ve one gone over the 1GB data plan, on two occasions, costing $15 each time for a total of $30. I’m perfectly happy with my Spectrum Mobile service.
My only issue with Spectrum Mobile is they recently raised my 1 GB monthly call AND data plan (which all but two months in the last 6 years i’ve gone over for an extra $15 a pop) from $14 to 19 dollars.
I bought and paid off a Galaxy S10 6 years ago. I’m golden.
I think of all the extra thousands of dollars I spent over the years having Verizon phones and service, feel like I won the lottery.
the more a fingerprint reader “allows” for oil, cuts, and any other change to the fingerprint it has stored, the more it becomes useless. the fingerprint is the key, the more the tech lets the lock change and morph the more insecure the lock becomes, and the more it will allow just about any key to work in it.
