3 days agoI experienced the complete opposite. Ultrasonic was crap, inaccurate, and slow (until it stopped working completely), while optical was just a tap, and very accurate

I’d like to switch back to my older phone, one of main reasons is the fingerprint sensor. The old phone has the plain old sensor at the back, where i naturally touch my phone, and its very fast. Much faster, and accurate than the newer phone’s in screen sensor… when that was working… but it isnt working at all since a year.
Ultrasonic in screen sensor is absolute crap in every aspects. However the newer phone is a Huawei which also crap in everything, except its leica camera.

What about RCS for other than SIM1?

There are many thoughtless, idiotic design choices today, for example curved edge phone screens, shitty ultrasonic/photo fingerprint sensors in the scren, no jack connector, microsim, etc. I call it engineer idiotism.

Of course i do, and install more and more sideload apps. Newpipe is good, smarttube is great, youtube premium is lame ;)
Outlook is a pile of crap, like every microsoft shitware, especially the electron crap, like outlook, teams, etc.
212·1 year agoThis should be default, or at least a switch, that if enabled, all links copied without tracking. BTW i was thinking, isnt there a simple app or service, that does only this: listen for links in clipboard, if a link added, automatically removes tracking params, and replaces with that on clipboard?
I think microsoft is the cancer (and google), not just windows alone. Teams is also like a crime against human kind, just like office, and the xbox publisher octopus.
If a game cant be run on linux, thats usually intentional. Microshit at least gives discounts to the developer if the game runs only on their shit. Also m$ have some of components that ultimately lock things to wincrap, for example d3d is meant to do this. Microsoft is a cancerm just like google become one

I dont think ultrasonic can be better, but regardless of sensor tech, in screen sensor is absolutely crap, i put the inventors to the same box as the inventors/pushers of micro usb, curved edge phone screens, removing jack connectors, etc… these things arey very annoying, and very useless.
