The question isn’t whether Marijuana is habit forming. Obviously for some percentage it is. The question is whether Marijuana use in and of itself encourages or preface additional drug use. My position is that it does not and by legalizing Marijuana we would find that it is the interaction with black market drug dealers which correlates instead.
Marijuana is not a gateway drug.
Having to deal with a drug dealer that wants to also sell you actually addictive drugs is the gateway.
Legalize pot, sell it at the grocery store, and you will watch the number of addicts in general fall precipitously. I guarantee it.

I wouldn’t be so sure if that. It’s possible, yeah, but if my theory is right they see the library sharing as the carrot to get normies to download the plex app onto their roku or apple TV.
Pivoting to a streaming only app would close off that avenue for user acquisition permanently.
I was trying to think how Plex thinks this is going to play out, knowing that this move will piss off their customer base. Then I realized, this isn’t a play for Plex’s existing customer base. This is a play for their customer’s “friends and family” that are enjoying shared libraries already.
Their ‘customer’ base has for many many years been developing a large user base of technologically naive people with Plex apps installed who could never run their own server. If Plex knows, for example, that for every paying customer there’s three other users pulling from someone’s library, that’s a huge opportunity for them to convert those users to paying customers.
Everyone that set up a Plex server and then shared it with your tech-phobic parents, cousins, friends, etc… We made this possible.
I don’t like it but I can’t argue with the logic from Plex here.

Unlikely any heat from the slow cooker did anything. Solder melts at 370F. A slow cooker is never going to get anywhere close to that hot.
Some people don’t want to be locked down to one place for long. When I was in my twenties I moved to a different town every year when my lease was up just to see if I would like it better somewhere else. Or I’d get a raise and be able to afford a better place the next year. For people that want relatively short term housing, renting is a far superior option.
If I took out a mortgage on a place and then sold it a year later, I’d have almost no equity since you pay almost all interest in the front part of the loan.
Get one. My wife and I used to have friction about who’s turn it was to clean the multiple cat boxes. We would go out of town and come back to a house that smelled like dirt cat box. now I just empty the bin twice a week and add a scoop of fresh litter. Takes five minutes, tops. Doesn’t matter how long we’re gone, the smell is contained.
You need to clean the dome every few months but that’s fairly easy too if you have a hose and a sprayer attachment. The worst part is just that it takes a long time to dry.
We bought one last year for our three cats. It’s honestly the best money I’ve ever spent. I’ve probably saved $200+ in litter costs in the last year. I would recommend getting a set of stairs though. My cats refused to use it until I got some for them.

$25 for the m.2 version at least. It’s $60 for the usb version which I assume most people would prefer.
A USB coral uses barely any power and if you have a hard time installing USB devices…

Could probably do it with something like a Google coral. You can get one for $60 these days. A lot cheaper than a GPU and less power hungry too.
They still sell the index, they pivoted the link into being sofwltware you can install on anything, and the controller got killed by patents trolls. Steam machines weren’t made by valve so I can’t pin that one on them entirely.
