Oh, sorry, whoosh on my part.
An empathetic owner can tell whether their animal is happy or not.
That still falls under the “related” term, though.
Not everywhere. Where is it a crime?
The paintball gun is just wrong.
So how do we know this one is the bad kind or the ok kind?
It’s true, I tell my cats so every day.

cats@lemmy.world•Advice: Fancy robot catbox stinks more than analog!
2·2 months agoHave you tried to check whether the cat burries the product as efficiently as it used to in the analog toilet?
I’m already under their spell, if I caught toxoplasmosis, I wonder how much more fanatic I could get. I’ve been a big cat fan for several decades and I’m toxo negative so far - apparently it’s easier to get by working in the garden. I should probably get my hands dirty more often.
Oh, that’s nice, didn’t know that was a thing. I’m sending scritches!
The chain looks heavy, does he wear it all the time? He’s a cutie.
Why not both? Anyway, I know this does happen irl. I was once leaving an office and the lady there had a really cute chihuahua, so I said “Goodbye” and added cheerfully: “Bye bye, sweet creature.” It took me about a minute to realise I didn’t check whether the lady saw I was talking to the dog. Hopefully she’s used to her dog getting lots of attention - that’s what I tell myself now to cope.
They must be family, they’re both cuties!
Is that a real pick? Someone did this to their cat? See the necklace - it was not an accident :(
Love how the tissue box echos the shape on the bedboard

cats@lemmy.world•Got a harness to start taking my cats outside. Niniane is not nearly as cool with it
141·6 months agoMy cats became cool with a harness as soon as they understood that it allows them to explore otherwise forbidden places. First I let them just to some spaces in the house they were not allowed to visit before - they were scared but excited. Now I take them outside to quiet places without dogs - they love it, but there always needs to be the box to hide back in if things get too exciting.
Wft? We were talking about street cats, right? Oh, wait I misread the comment I answered. I thought the second part went back to cat discussion 😅
