Because the less tech savvy people will be confused when the battery starts getting full and charging speed tapers off which will lead to complaints about their 20w charger only providing 3w of power.

wanted to implement something like that with my 1920R UPS for my rack but haven’t found the time to commit to antiquated hardware.
Was enough of a hassle dealing with the expired SSL certs on the management card yet getting software running on one of my machines to communicate with the UPS.
Honestly you should just bypass dells management software and use NUT. It supports your UPS’s management card if you enable SNMP or you can bypass it all together and just run off of the USB/serial.
All things considered my two servers chilling chew around 60w on average, not taking into account my POE cameras or other devices. The UPS should run for over a day without getting close to draining its batteries (have a half populated ebm too).
I’m pretty surprised I can run my whole network for an hour off of my 1500va UPS with three switches and a handful of POE devices. I’m still thinking about replacing it with a rack mount unit so i can lock it inside my rack as I’ve been having issues with unauthorized people messing with it.
Anything using vanguard such as valorant and league of legends, battleye such as pubg, destiny 2, and rainbow 6 siege, and easy anti cheat such as fortnight blocks virtual machines. Vanguard is especially bad because it will not allow to run the game with Intel-VT/AMD-V enabled even if you are running bare metal as of its last update.
I think the safe option would be to use a smart UPS and Network UPS Tools to shutdown the LLM virtual machine when it’s running on battery. I do something similar with my NAS as it’s running on an older dell R510 so when the UPS goes onto battery it’ll safely shut down that whole machine to extend how long my networking gear will stay powered.
TSA literally says on their own website that they are not looking for drugs and will only report it to the police if it’s blatant.
TSA’s screening procedures are focused on security and are designed to detect potential threats to aviation and passengers. Accordingly, TSA security officers do not search for marijuana or other illegal drugs, but if any illegal substance is discovered during security screening, TSA will refer the matter to a law enforcement officer.
It really bugs me there’s a sideways full water bottle leaning on the mixer. That’s a Yamaha CL5 which MSRPs at 30k not mention the cost of having the show ruined…
I’m pretty sure that spare tire is only there for the joke. With off roading tires that large they are almost definitely bead lock tires which can be ran at very low PSI without risk of the tire departing the rim. On top of that the tread is much thicker meaning punctures have to go deeper before they cause problems and most of the time came be fixed by simple plugs.
Not to mention the logistics of changing a spare on a tire of that size. A bottle jack is completely out of the question and you wouldn’t be able to use a farm jack safety with the body that high. Even if you could how are you going to get that wheel onto the studs when it weighs over 300Lb?
Exactly especially when the default file system on windows is 30 years old.
ETX4 was released in 2006 and BTRFS was released in 2007.
ZFS is amazing but i wish it’s support for flash was better. I’m not sure if ZFS will ever be able to fully utilize flash since ZFS was designed around spinning disks and the pitfalls they provide. Maybe at some point F2FS will catch on…
A VPN is only a single end point just like your ISP meaning you are only shifting the problem to your VPN provider who admittedly is more trustworthy than your ISP but you are still putting an immense amount of trust into a single point of failure.
If you truly want to hide from your ISP or really anyone, your only options are to use TOR or I2P where your traffic is encrypted and tumbled through multiple servers.
I’m not, the comment I was replying to literally called proton a “security and privacy” company.

Any ERP like odoo can do this and with odoo you can even make maintenance reminders. Just remember they are business software so you have to look through that lens.
You’d still need a base distro for the VM to run on. If OP goes the proxmox route they should do VGPU instead of pass through as it’s more flexible. Here’s the link to a guide on getting vGPU working with consumer grade nvidia GPUs
Not to sound like a shill or anything but that’s what’s great about monero. Its actually used on a daily basis as money because it wasn’t designed to be an investment vessel. Unlike most crypto currencies monero is one a few if not the only crypto currency that could suffer from inflation as there is an unlimited supply however this works out in avarage uses favor as there’s no scarcity based value which means there’s less speculation trading leading to a more stable price. I’m not sure what the long term effects of having an unlimited supply of monero is but their justification is that it’s a predictable fixed ammount added which will prevent hyper inflation.
Once again I’m not a crypto shill, I’m literally saying investing in crypto is a bad idea and to only use it for it’s utility.
From what I see online it’s just hid mapping support and their page only mentions the OG CDJ 2000s (non nexus). I wouldn’t be at all surprised if it was only just control and no display features like you get within rekordbox. I have a pair of 2Ks laying around so I’ll try it out some point.
The contact patch of the wheels on a train is roughly 90,000 PSI of vertical pressure. You need a lot of ice to derail a train.
Tails is one of those things where you aren’t supposed to daily drive it unless you are a paranoid weirdo.
You will get leagues better picture quality using a camlink/capture card and a camera with clean HDMI out. A gopro is a good budget option but a used DLSR or mirrorless camera is going to be the best. Some DSLR and mirrorless cameras support video out over usb so you don’t even need a capture card. Here’s a guide on getting it to work on Linux with a camera capability list inside the guide. If you do want to go the capture card route I hear elgato’s camlink works in Linux.
