Non-native english speaker here, so excuse me for any abominations you read from my posts

Ups, you’re right although I think I had already uncommented it without success, in a couple of hours I’ll let you know if that solves it.
In my country, 99% of the time you contact technical support, a poorly made bot responds (actually it is a while loop) with ambiguous and pre-written answers, and the only way to talk to a human is directly by going to the place in question, so nothing to worry about that here.
Dumb question, why don’t you use Garuda for everything?
Holy shit, that sound super useful, thank you so much and everyone who has answered.
I’ve heard a lot about Proxmox and I always thought it was some kind of VPS, so I can selfhost it for myself?
And another problem that I had with my previous selfhosting attempts is that I didn’t really know how to solve my problems, I could run the script and set up my domain, but when it comes to solving some problem I really couldn’t because or there was little specific documentation of my specific problem.
For example, I remember having selfhosted Nextcloud and when I wanted to enable ffmpeg so that my videos had a miniature I found instructions on how to do it but with different selfhosting methods.
Thank you so much! I used it some weeks ago and I swear that when I tried to select any precipitation provider it only shown me one that didn’t have support for my country but now it seems fixed because it show me more providers.
Maybe what I will say is not exactly what you are looking for but it can help, try using RethinkDNS, it is an open source app that works as a firewall and can completely remove ads from many apps without doing anything special, you simply need to turn on the app and that’s it.
I would also recommend “Auto mute”, it is another open source app that cannot filter sound by app, but can filter by type of sound, for example, you can disable the audio of specifically game-type apps. For example, I have Auto Mute configured so that it automatically silences all multimedia sound, so, if I watch a YouTube video it starts silently and when I increase the volume I can clearly hear it, but if I close the app and open another video, now the app would be silenced again until I manually turned up the multimedia sound again.
Droidfish looks great, I don’t understand how I didn’t find the app before, thanks.
I thought that by its own description “free online chess” was exclusively an online chess app, thanks for the suggestion.
No but I haven’t tried either, I guess it’s not possible?
I think the same, I doubt that Termux will ever replace the comfort of a terminal on a laptop or desktop PC, but for certain occasions it is very useful, like avoiding downloading full apps when I can install only one package that does the same thing, in the case of yt-dlp.
What do you mean by special on screen keyboard? I usually just zoom out the screen (making a pinching gesture with the fingers) and that works for me.
Just install Python with pkg and then
python3 -m pip install --upgrade yt-dlp
Is this some kind of meme? I remember seeing a furry version of this some time ago but idk.
Sorry, I just started selfhosting and even reading that I don’t understand.
