Is there another client we can use with vaultwarden though? (In the scenario wgere that gets locked down)

I use a combo of navidrome and feishin too, and i am also very very happy.
I tried out all the web players i could find and found feishin to be the best, mostly for it’s ability to multi select stuff in the queue easily and carry out various operations.
I’m really happy with this setup too, i don’t use all that funky playlist stuff but it does sound cool and i should have a play. I never got into the spotify way of music so i never really was looking to replace that way. I only really listen to full albums (apart from dance music when i prefer dj created sets/mixes or occasionally playlists by genre). I do make sure i have my genre tag setup right so i can browse by genre as i generally know which genre i want (genres correlate with moods for me) if not exactly which album/band i want to listen to. Only expection to all this is i have a self created genre called Friday Music which is just quite high energy across genre ‘yeeaaa work is basically done’ music. And if i don’t know what to listen to i go for a little silence cos i sure do listen to a lot of music :)
I keep a playlist of albums which are ‘to listen to’ when it occurs to me i should listen to X again but won’t right at that moment, then i build my actual queue from there for the day, but i have noticed feishin has started saving your queue which is really cool, still i don’t like my queue too full and there are generally 10 albums or so on my to listen to list, so i’ll probably keep this playlist separate.
I have been trying to get into favoriting tracks but i’ve only managed a few so far and it’s not really taken off for me.
How do the atom feeds work? Can you get a feed of a user?
I always wait for the first service pack release before i upgrade, 26.04.01, should be out in summer, (but i’ll probably move to Debian this time anyway).

This was my conclusion too.

I use Markor on android and syncthing, it’s a pretty good experience.

Hey thanks, it was that last paragraph i hadn’t kept up with. But i was hoping for something like that.

I know this may be contentious but can someone give an update/summary on what’s going on with SyncthingFork on fdroid? And is it correct that SyncthingFork from GooglePlay is ok for now?
I’ve yet to upgrade from version 1 because of all the noise, is it still at an impasse, or has it resolved?

After setting up Navidrome and being very happy with it apart from the web interface i went looking for a better one so i’ve looked at a few of these now. Aonsoku does seem to be one of the better ones.
Though i still feel Feishin is currently the most fleshed out and is still getting active development.
It has multi select everywhere, lots of options for sending things to playlists and queues. You can have the playlist docked to the RHS. You can drag stuff around in the queue. Just lots of nice quality of life options.

This sounds really interesting, will check out, i use bandcamp a lot and do have trouble in this area.

Ah thanks for the reply. That is a shame about DX12, i must have not tried any of these cos i’ve found all games i pick run great (i mostly play 2D non intensive indie games). I did play some Death Stranding and was very surprised by how well it ran!
I’ll go for AMD if i can next time (i’ve been doing well getting hand me downs from friends who love getting the latest stuff for themselves!)

(Perhaps asking silly questions in order to understand, I’ve never totally understood the nvidia driver numbers and what they mean, i just kinda installed some and they seem to work and i just forgot about them, i can run the modest games i like)
So just for clarity the 580 drivers will support my 980Ti right? How long will those be supported for? Will there come a time that i will not be able to properly use this card with linux and run (modest games) games on it?

Another vote for Navidrome here, i use the Tempo android client for it and i use the feishin web front end for desktop because it’s better than the default navidrome web front end.

I’ve found Tempo to be one of the better alternatives you can find on f-droid
You do make some good points here about available docs. I just had trouble running GNOME on a 4GB laptop.
I’d second this, but also add that you probably want to use something like XFCE for your desktop environment due to the amount of RAM you have: https://fedoraproject.org/spins

I agree after switching to Navidrome i tried a few of the apps and found Tempo to be the best

Two very good points here. The second is the one I’ve been thinking about recently. It’s about considering what format your data is kept in and if you can usably get that out and implement it somewhere else without too much work.
I used keepass but switched to vaultwarden, i might consider switching back, but is there a good self hostable web front end for a keepass database? (I need to access it on my work laptop and can’t install stuff there)
