Picked my area and 29K puts you in the middle class, which is like $13/hr, and its pretty close to the national average for COL.
Based on which definition?
I feel like by most commonly used definitions I would be. About half my income (before taxes) goes into savings, my position is considered management, I make between 75%-200% of median national income, I have a graduate degree.
I don’t make half that rate though.
Not sure I think middle class is a useful method of classification though, but still curious why that specific number.
Last time I used an SD card in a phone (actually used it: not just having one in there) was with a phone that have like 16-32GBs. Given you couldn’t install apps on it, that mean doing annoying file management to just try to get enough space to install something. Granted, if your use case is just bulk storage and the base phone has plenty of space for apps, I imagine its perfectly fine.
But why would you want to watch videos on your phone?
Music is small. 256GB is plenty to store well over 1000 hours of music. No need for dealing with annoying SD card setups.
Motorola generally supports unlocking bootloaders, unless you buy a specifically locked one from vendors (like AT&T, Verizon, Amazon Prime + Ads versions). Given it hasn’t even launched yet, its probably not support yet though?
Why would you put that on your phone?
At least online, it seems like the only Americans who call themselves far left agree those are all centrist positions. It’s only “centrists/progressives*” (moderately far right Americans) and other flavors of far right who still often dont generally call themselves far right (trump enthusiasts, alex jones types, proud boy types) who label basic things like universal health care a far left idea or just call it impractical atm.
*I feel like 10 years ago, people who were at least moderately left were the main people using this term, but in the last few years, people right of center have been using the label to try limit progress by pretending they’re just trying to be practical/realists about what can actually be done.
Metadata Some cursors cannot become SVGs, and that’s fine. Some cursors are used for more than one shape, and that’s fine. Some cursors are animated, and that’s fine! All of a shape’s properties are described in a small meta.hl file alongside them.
Seems like it should support it?
You could do more than hope. A start could be just making lists, categorizing common communities. At least with that, someone could just go through and block or sub to all the coms within a category. No specialized knowledge needed.
I figure there’s enough differences that they want to scare protentional devs from making the changes needed for it to work on Switch 2. They knew that getting rid of an existing open source emulator wasn’t really possible, but is a new one is not made, then its not just a matter of sharing copies.
But given that consoles are becoming more and more PC-like, I wonder how hard it will be to make an emulator anyways.
Both of my roommates own a switch and I’m welcome to use them. If I’m gonna play, I’ll just use those. Still, I’m people.
Used it for cloning some laptops recently without much issue. Cloned one laptop’s primary partition onto an SD card and then imaged the others no problem. Laptops were 256GBs capacity (but only like 30-60 GBs used) and the SD card was 64 GBs. Seemed pretty simple to me.
There’s a lot of options for those who want to do things like deploy over a network, but I haven’t messed with them seriously (I didn’t have the ethernet cables to do it - wasted a bit of time trying before realizing they weren’t connect to a network; maybe there’s a way to connect via wifi, but I didn’t see it)
Even if its on by default, first thing you should do when installing or first using it is adjust the settings imo. How often is still a matter of personal choice. And other settings are as well. Granted, I get I’m probably far from the average given how much I like to tinker with settings and customizing toolbars, etc. Still agree it should be on by default along with some basic version history to undo unwanted autosaves.
Just use version history to undo autosaves if needed. Which at least some basic level of VH to include the last manual save should be part of writer/calc/word/excel imo. But its easy to use other software to handle version history so you can do restores.
Been a while since I looked, but last time I checked around me, the starting price for any work like that was like $200 (maybe it was less?). Not exactly worth it for a $300 phone that’s already aging unless you need data off it or something. Granted, YMMV with pricing.
