What’s with Lemmy’s obsession with water? Most people know that water is the best thing to drink but this site is preachy as fuck about it.

With having IBD I’m pretty much limited to water or milk. I’m absolutely going to drink milk when I can because I get fed up drinking water multiple times a day every fucking day.

I feel ya. I was diagnosed with IBD (ulcerative colitis) 3 years ago and never really had any issues. This year I’ve been in hospital twice and have learnt that it can cause lactose intolerance to develop and that there’s overlap with IBS so there are foods which can give me explosive diarrhea. 3 years I wasn’t overly cautious and now I’ll be making sure I check ingredient lists and understand them and actually learn what foods are triggers. Likewise I wasn’t told about lactose intolerance or the IBS overlap.

I fucking care when I only play docked and games like xenoblade chronicles 3 fucking lag in places. The switch is used least for me between an s, ps5 and a midrange pc despite it having “fun games”

I might get a switch 2 only after it’s hackable. I thought of doing it with the switch but it seemed too complex for me. At this point I’m really fed up with Nintendo’s anti consumer bs. And I’m not just referring to the copyright takedowns and closure yuzu but things like the Mario all stars collection which they then created artificial scarcity around and the Zelda anniversary where they release a HD remaster of skyward sword which is seen as the weakest of the series. I do enjoy the odd Nintendo game but I’ve had my switch since the year after it came out and I’ve only beaten 4-5 games on it and I’ve only 10-20 at most on it and those are mostly indies.

Edit: Actually just clicked the link and noticed that I used it before I think for 2 trails games, maybe. I had already bought it on PlayStation and wanted to play it on PC as the whole trails series is on PC and not PlayStation and I owned most of the games at the time on PC so wanted the last of the 2 cold steel games to finish the collection and that way they were in one place.

I remember playing ketchapp games years ago and I went looking for them a month ago they were all gone.

Same. It bugs me that people think larian only existed when making BG3. When DoS2 released on steam that game hit overwhelmingly positive in no time and I bought it day one with no idea what it was because the reviews were so good. Larian will be fine because they stick to what they’re great at and they’ve been around a long time.

I love the NHS in my country. I’m currently in hospital right now and the staff are fucking amazing but it’s underfunded so I got stuck in an isolation room all of Saturday after being transferred to another hospital. Anyway the staff isn’t the problem, it’s the lack of support and funding that’s killing the quality of the service which everyone i.e patients, staff, even politicians all agree on.
