1·30 days agoOh yea, I think I am just gonna use a VM and make a burner account. Still the original phrasing of the question was bad so don’t blame them lol. It’s edited. Some people still suggested itch.io after that (I already use itch.io and GOG btw (And also got all my games off steam except the ones with denuvo or that, they were mostly indie singleplayer games anyways)) but it was certainly less people.

2·30 days agono it is not, it’s a free game lol. I just didn’t want to have to use steam directly or whatever
But apparently you need to login to install free games with steamcmd??? Really odd stuff. It asks you to have a subscription for the free game but you can only claim it if you have an account. I think I will just end up making alt accounts anyways.

3·1 month agoYes the phrasing was bad. I just meant some specific games that were updated on steam that are free and I am pretty sure they have no DRM I don’t know if it is considered pirating maybe it is idk the definition of it I just don’t want to like install steam and that.
Apologies for the bad phrasing lol.
That works, ty, I will just keep 2 keyboards from now on. It happened cuz I updated the app, I will just downgrade it too.
caps don’t appear anyways. I don’t think I can connect stuff before unlocking the phone too cuz like it works through the usb-c port in my laptop.
nah didn’t work, tried it on my laptop through the usb-c port with the adapter to make sure it works too. I don’t think I can connect stuff before unlocking it.
shoot i forgot and left that at home
also idk if this is the right place to ask I just need help

1·1 month agoi think there are some jailbreaks for the iphone and not the ios but a similar problem since they will stop being manifactured eventually.

1·1 month agoReally hard not impossible. Even then we’re decades away from even starting anything like that. Last jailbreak for ios was in ios 17 i believe? iOS is at 26 rn it did switch from 18 to 26 tho. Apple literally hired all the jailbreak devs to patch the exploits. There aren’t even exploits that would help you personalize the phone and have better privacy since ios 18 and maybe a bit of early versions of 26. That’s why I changed my phone when I messed up my password and had to update it.
Also the android on early iphones doesn’t even work fully, it’s a start yes but yea. And apple just also killed hackingtosh (mac in non apple machines) when they stopped to support intel. They could reverse ingenier the arm chip or whatevs, asahi has already done some reverse engeniering in the Apple m1 chip.
I don’t think you have to jailbreak mac? idk i’ve never used one. So ye if we were to get custom stuff for ios it would take a lot years to even get a jailbreak and more years to get anything else and for that point almost anyone would be using that version of ios since you can’t “downgrade”.

I can only imagine what those employees have seen.
