power doesn’t just fucking let you do whatever you want.
No, but power can be subverted. Maybe I’m hopelessly optimistic, but I think there’s still a non-violent solution.

I get the violent rhetoric, I really do. But, at the same time, I can’t help but feel like more people would be more amenable to social reform that benefits the little guy to the mere detriment of the rich, rather than murdering them horribly. I could be wrong, but doesn’t history teach us that violent revolution more often just begets more violence than actually solves problems?
I would look at that, but I bounced off VIM hard, so probably not for me.
the death of Atom
I’m still in mourning.
Ahh, but with a billion, you would be important enough.
I also have no clue whether Ethiopians need any rice
The Ethiopian famine was 30 years ago. Not that they haven’t had troubles off-and-on since then.
Sleep with pornstar. Excessive hush money. Boom!
The numbers between zero and one are where all of the fun is!
I’m using a 2060 with Mint with no problems. Well, short of the game I’m playing (Enshrouded) needing to validate its install every single time I open Steam, but I suspect that’s on Steam.
Do I need a mold or something? Can I just buy a tube of resin and use a cup I don’t care about?
This also deserves consideration. More eco-friendly, and it gives me a chance to practice my desoldering skills.
Worse. A classroom.
That’s good to know. I suppose most of us not knowing this is a good indicator of the average age around here. I think the last time I installed Windows from scratch was 7…
They’re built to kill. Crazy good reflexes and eyesight, amazing jump height, claws that grab hold of tree branches, feathers, and skin very nicely. There are a bunch of strays where I live, and they are murdering machines when they don’t have a bowl of food plopped in front of them twice a day at their leisure.
Linux is amazingly portable.
So I’m discovering! I might just have to install Linux on my home machine, but I’ve been running Windows for so long, I really worry I’m going to break something in that case. I also do a lot of audio production with that machine, and software compatibility might end up being a big problem.
That’s a great idea! I have an old HDD and a 300 watt PSU lying around somewhere. I suppose I could just mount it all on a board.
Self pity is easier than taking a chance.
I remember I’d been playing guitar for about five years or something and thought I was getting pretty good when I met this kid who was 16 (the same age I started) who’d been playing for six months and was so much better at it than I was, it was scary. That was 23 years ago, and I might be as good as he was now. I’d like to say it never bothered me, but I still remember it.
I understand. I throw obscene amounts of money at the cash black hole that is rent. I understand entirely how people think that people who make money simply by sitting on assets they own and otherwise provide nothing to society should be, ahem, obliterated. I just think it’s still possible to obliterate them with regulations instead of actual murder.
