The devs themselves actually put out a pretty good “10 reasons not to buy wardogs” and one listed reason was because early access will be for big fixes and polish, not content drops.

Dude hasn’t had a good take ina decade and all he has to do is make his storefront not suck but instead he funnels money toward throwing free games at people like a parent trying to win their kids affection on Christmas instead of yanno, by being a damn parent.

I know there’s still plenty of good games on the way. It’s wild that I’m excited for two star wars games in one year, Zero Company and Galactic racer lol.

It’s just a damn shame so many legacy studios and IP have fallen from grace in the past half decade. I do love the strong indie scene though, that’s been awesome. It’s a mixed bag right now, and that’s if you already have hardware lol.

For me, the campaign evolved title was enough to set my expectations in a way that I didn’t feel this was aiming to be a 1 to 1 remake.

To me it feels like a team of modders got a 50 million dollar budget lol

Most of it is pretty damn fun.

The johnson missions are so bad and the writing is somehow on a level of shit I’ve rarely seen in gaming. It’s just awful.
