That’s so good. My cats have similar dynamics. The big one, as we call her (despite weighing about 9 lbs), allows me to clip her nails in exchange for 1 (one) kiss upon her forehead per claw.

The small one (5 lbs) needs treats and breaks but puts up with it and me.

I trim my cat’s nails because they fight sometimes and I don’t want anyone getting hurt. Also because I want them to be able to make biscuits on me if they want to without feeling like I’m getting stabbed.

My problem isn’t that they are long. My problem is they are sharp .

There’s precedent though. Alcohol and tobacco have significant restrictions on marketing material. I would argue that firearms should fall into the same category.

My impression was the same- eye roll at the “videogames cause violence” argument that’s been beaten to death, but I actually think they may have a point when it comes to marketing.

Sadly, I also think that COD is a military recruitment strategy (Boy Boy did a video breaking down the way the American recruiters use COD to capture a certain demographic) so I don’t think this lawsuit will go anywhere. Thought-provoking though.

I’m sorry you’re getting so much grief for this. One of my cats has short little whiskers by her mouth and big long whisker eyebrows. Cats are weirdos by default and that’s why we love them.

Thank you for sharing your stories about your food thief. Our theif has serious food insecurity from her previous home, and only weighs about 5 lbs, so it’s extra funny to catch her dragging a slice of pizza the same size as her.

I’ll try to appreciate her thieving ways, since I’ll definitely miss them when she’s gone.

Lucky. Yesterday my cat stole a slice of my toast and ran off. I got most of it back but she growled at me :(

I grow a “snackrificial” spider plant (well, 2 of them actually) so that my other plants are left alone. I swap them in/out of cat reach depending on when one needs a break from the chomping.
