What is communication?
Check out my work on GitHub https://github.com/RoBoT095
Seeming how the developers respond to things, I feel like they would easily start a flame war with someone.
But you sometimes need to have crazy opinionated people to run a project, that way you know their goals won’t change and they aren’t going to sell out easily.
Yeah I watch and read on mine in bed, very nice as my laptop is big and heavy
I’m sad that the used pixel tablet I bought didn’t have the stand, if I knew how expensive the standard was by itself, I would have spent a bit more to get tablet with stand, then I could use it for home assistant
Also, it goes so well with my GrapheneOS pixel 8
Personally I think OnePlus phones have gotten worse over the years, I switched from OnePlus 9 to a second-hand Pixel 8 and I didn’t realize how much I would like the smaller size. I did install grapheneos too.
When I looked at specs between Pixel 8 and OnePlus 13 (both came out same year) I realized that pixel was slightly better at everything except a bit smaller battery size and slower charging which isn’t an issue for me.
Regarding camera, I do use Google’s camera app but I got Gcam service provider so I wouldn’t need to use google photos as I prefer aves libre as gallery app, and photo quality was much better overall compared to my old op9.
I got a very low score because 90% of the Foss apps are unknown or pending.
Also interesting enough, I have an app on github and on play store and it marked it propietary despite code available and has GPLv3 license. This app still needs some work.
I love Immich for the fact that since I cannot hold peoples name in memory for more than a minutes, and I meet a lot of new people, so being able to take a photo and save their name is big for me.
Helps me when I study people’s names periodically too
I have 10tb server drives that sound like angle grinders at work when all 4 are working and in the beginning I thought something was wrong with them, but it has been 2 years and still all smart tests pass without issue.
So maybe issue with adapter, see if you can use a different adapter or plug it directly into pc or server
Sorry, as someone who actually makes apps, I didn’t think it was that hard, naive of me
Sounds like something you’d use home assistant for… Or program your own app
Sh#t, I hope it won’t be forced on us and remains as a toggle, but knowing Google I can’t have too much hope.
I only ever use my local ai for home assistant voice assistant on my phone, but it’s more of a gimmick/party trick since I only have temperatures sensors currently (only got into ha recently) and it can’t access WiFi so it’s just quietly sitting unloaded on my truenas server
That movie was a masterpiece
Idk how many people I have met who don’t know what windows is despite using it for years. For them it is Mac and PC (pc meaning windows), anything outside of that is black magic or hacker stuff.
For a yt music app, you can also use metrolist.
I just hope smaller sized drives become cheaper. The word “hope” is doing a lot of heavy lifting here.
This is actually perfect, exactly what I wanted
On the subject of android launchers, I gotta advertise: https://github.com/RoBoT095/win95_launcher
Made it in two days, released yesterday, still needs work but I want to know what people think of it.
EDIT: here is an image of it
Quick question, when hosted plan says up to 50 people, is that you can add 50 people to remember or 50 people can access one database?
It sucks that everyone has decided that the nuclear option was the only way, you don’t realize it till you try to setup a HA dashboard on a pi and get stuck loading a website for 5 minutes
