Fedora Selinux, I mean, yes security is important. But how often is it in the way. In docker my mounts always need a :z and other stuff. Switched back to Debian. Apparmor doesn’t need this finetuning and just works.

Maybe it’s arch based? Tested bazzite and found it overhyped, I don’t think a immutable flatpak solution is the best for gaming. I use CachyOS on steam deck and love it’s easy setup (easy for an arch user).

Nope, okay I fiddle more with complex scenarios than ever before with windows. But I never lost files/progress than I lost with windows bluescreens. And since everything is open source and documented. There is always a way to find a solution, even if its a reddit post 12 years ago.

Advanced Distro-hopper over here: I am actually fine with cachyOS. If I want to leave systemd, only good alternative I found is artix. Someone tried their new stable release of 2026? Arch + openrc + Wayland + pipewire + KDE would be my usecase.

I’m a vaultwarden user, who likes the idea of both the bitwarden and the keepass way. Just to consider new possibilities, isnt it possible to put the keepass db in a private git (selfhosted forgejo or gitea). And sync the repo with an app like puppygit which syncs automatically everytime I open or close keepass. Is this a safe walkthrough?

Uptime is really good for simple uptime, no worries it gets the job done. Bezsel does more metrics, like a Prometheus+Graphana combination but simpler to set up.

Linux distros nowadays are fully working and usable without the need of the terminal. Terminal is mostly used in online guides. Because it is easier to write a commandline than making 5 screenshots about where you have to point in a GUI.

Have it installed since the fork got public but the app always crash when I play a lot of songs and the phone goes idle, after waking up the phone, the app crashes. Maybe its the battery optimization. But I set them to unrestricted and background use allowed.
