As long as you get offended over the use of the word, you are giving that word power. Do what the LGBTQ community did and defang words like “f*g” and “qu##r”
Read the first line of the post, this poor Thinkpad is still a Windows machine.
Incorrect. Something can be free (as in free beer) without being libre (free as in freedom) and something can be libre without being free.
You moved the goalposts
How did the soviets make Tetris if technology only exists under capitalism?
Jerboa, the official lemmy app, crashes in a new way every update.
Their launcher is literal spyware.
I will always be salty about the secret tunnel out of Riften’s jail being broken.
I don’t care what they all themselves, they are always going to be Facebook.
Lemmy is a reddit-like that redditors are migrating to because of reddit’s recent decision to kill 3rd party like twitter did (and their piss poor management, also like twitter). as for why DEs don’t tile windows, the world may never know.
Judging by the @s in your comment you are posting this from Mastodon, which severely bungles Lemmy threads. The OP is posting on a Linux community and has a problem that only tiling window managers can really solve, average users don’t matter here.
Sounds like you want a tiling window manager, I like i3-gaps.
Jerboa search only finds communities that at least 1 person on your instance subscribed to, to find new communities from other instances easily I like to use https://browse.feddit.de/
Then when you find a community, go to the web version of your instance (don’t worry it’s (mostly) mobile friendly) and type !name@instan.ce (don’t forget the !) Then you can subscribe there. Close and reopen Jerboa and your new community will show up in the list. The Jerboa devs are working on fixing this.
It boils my blood that companies have more rights than actual people.

If you are trying to view Lemmy communities on Mastodon all of the posts and comments get jumbled together. Pixelfed can’t see anything from Lemmy and only image posts from Mastodon. None of the services track each other’s likes or reblogs.
I came from RIF and Jerboa does the trick for me.
Add Dwarf Fortress to that list.
The hunting horn in monster hunter does this pretty well.
Yes, it is just a casino chip. The US dollar has been backed by jack shit for a long time.
