To be fair, this could be very make or break for Google. If someone else solves AI search properly, and they can’t catch up, it would be really bad for them. G+/Facebook were another market completely so it wasn’t really taking any of their current market share.

Yeah the part I like most about isekai is when they bring modern technology or knowledge into a different world. One of my favourite animes is Gate purely for that reason.

Personally I use simple tab group that allow you to separate tabs into groups that you can open in different windows. It’s extremely useful but it means sometimes if you switch between multiple tab groups you might have a lot of tabs open, but using this would allow you to majorly mitigate that problem.

One of the few things Apple objectively does better is software support for older phones. They give way longer support than 90% of Android phones.
I don’t think it’s too weird. So many apps today are just Chromium wrappers. It’s just easier to use a premade base, plus you don’t have to develop the web and desktop version independently, they can literally be the same code.
Yeah, just wrappers. Steam wasn’t untill fairly recently, but they were slowly switching to it for some time.

Yeah, I don’t agree with the post, I think for an OS like Windows, which is used by a lot of non-techy people, things like OP’s post should be the norm, you shouldn’t be able to brick your sistem easily.
But I feel your pain for windows apps, they’re such fucking cancer. I had the same problem when I tried to uninstall Sea of Thieves because the installer / Microsoft Store app was broken.

Your last point is just how Bluetooth works. It’s not to do with the headsets being cheap. When two way audio is used over Bluetooth, quality drops dramatically because it becomes more compressed.
I think they’re fixing that with Bluetooth LE audio but I’m not sure.

2027 is actually pretty early for such a dramatic change, and somewhere I heard that it’s all phones sold, if that’s the case (i.e. you can’t sell old models if they don’t have easily replaceable batteries) than that is a really early date for such a law.
Ok sure, what do you want them to do instead then? 80% of their income is reliant on a tech giant’s grace and is seemingly more and more likely to be cutoff soon. They need to survive somehow, and every monetised service they tried flopped thusfar.
